Does anyone feel sorry for these poor people who have lost zillions and their heart broken persona on various tv reports, as in 'it shouldn't happen to us'....

I can't remember ever discussing anything work related with you Skip. It's not the sort of thing I generally do on here, for obvious reasons.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

So it's ok not to feel sympathy for victims of crime as long as they're rich? That's not very liberal or tolerant.

Isn't that the left view in nuce?

You're making the mistake of conflating liberalism with leftism. As many of this forum's lefties continually prove (see the OP to this thread for a glaring example) liberalism is alien to them, or at least they only embrace it when it suits them. They're very intolerant.

I tend to conflate Liberal social attitudes with Epistemological Anarchism, but that's because I'm dashed clever and boyishly handsome to boot!

What you see on here from the left is usually wanton malice thinly disguised as good intent. I like that though it reassures me that all is well in the world, the enemy is still red in tooth and claw and my Knightly armour still gleams lambent.

PS: I thought of you the other day and chuckled to myself. My youngest walked in the door with a paperback of Marley and Me in her hand.

"Wanton malice disguised as good intent". Hard to disagree with that from reading some of the espoused lefties on here. They're just playing at it mostly for public consumption.

Stop your daughter and save her from herself. That book should be top-shelfed with other such traumatic titles.

My youngest was a cherubic little blonde thing that used to love going over the mountains with me and the dogs, now it's all eyebrow pencil and MTV.

I hate it when they start to grow up and move on.

And the Police "ignored" an alarm....

Taps nose.

It's all a ploy by the illuminati. The heist, the stolen belongings, the police ignoring it leads us all away from the real truth, which of course nobody knows about because we are too busy sparring with each other regards employment, personal position or perceived position in society.

It's what the illuminati want by all accounts, keeps us in check.
