Red Cards Today 15:03 - Jan 24 with 6297 views | Huw57 | Go on then, which, in your opinion, were right or wrong. Kyle Bartley's - Not a red. Gylfi Sigurdsson's - Not a red. [Post edited 24 Jan 2015 15:04]

Red Cards Today on 15:23 - Jan 25 by somersetsimon | "It seems Gary is right and refs love to wave red cards at us." I checked the figures and, despite committing less fouls than our opponents, we have had 8 players sent off and our opponents have had none sent off. |
Truly terrible stats. | |

Red Cards Today on 18:11 - Jan 25 with 738 views | monmouth | Well I have to say having watched that again, those combined calls have made my blood boil. the look on the twa*s face as he brandishes those cards says it all. He was looking for it. I'd stopped watching after the third went in yesterday so hadn't seen the end. Sigurdsson's was effectively no more than a trip. Boiling with indignation here.

Red Cards Today on 15:32 - Jan 24 by 3swan | Bartley - no should have been a yellow Sigurdsson - yes, look at the intent on his face as he dived in |
I'd agree with that. Did Bartley deny King a clear goalscoring opportunity? I don't think so. Looked at from one angle, it looks like King could well have brought Bartley down by leaning on him and how often to you see 2 players running side by with arms across each other jostling to get in front but nobody goes down so no foul is given. Siggy's a red all day long though, it was deliberate.

A kick on the shin with the instep (deliberate or otherwise) is now a red card?

Red Cards Today on 19:24 - Jan 25 with 689 views | Daggyjack | Our red cards this season just shows how imcompetent the refs are: Routledge v QPR - rescinded. Fernandez v Liverpool - rescinded. Bony v Southampton - two yellows but very debateable. Fabianski v West Ham - harsh red as the forward actually carried on and hit the post with his shot. Shelvey v Everton - two yellows. Rangel v Sunderland - two yellows. Bartley v Blackburn - No in my opinion (ref was about 30 yards away right behind the incident so could not see). Siggy v Blackburn - No in my opinion (very late but not dangerous - yellow - the ref couldn't wait to get his card out). I don't think we have a disciplinary problem, as the above reds concur. You could argue that at least half should not have been given. However, what we must cut out is the stupid yellows of kicking the ball away as Rangel and Shelvey both received yellows for this.
