Like I've said many times on 23:58 - Jan 21 by BobJack | No one is proportioning blame for this on the police or stewards. Its a few Swans lads in their twenties picking on an easy target, while their dads are probably fighting around the corner against a few Chelsea fans who were looking for it, allegedly. once you start making excuses for any violence in football, you will lose the argument. You cannot pick and chose, what is right and what isn't. Its all wrong. [Post edited 22 Jan 2015 0:00]

I'm sorry I didn't mean to give the impression I apportioned any kind of blame on either. I was trying to make the point that there are quite a number of them. I absolutely agree that anyone who is a witness to any sort of altercation should report it immediately, after all, there's more of us than them. You're quite right we should all have a zero tolerance to all forms of violence, anti-social behavior or racism.

I know Sully, i understood your post. Scoobywho did not understand your post yet feels the need to have a pop, he's a bit slow as evidenced again here. It is a shame that some of our thicker posters scooby / dgt , show themselves up regularly on here but try to gave a pop at the more intelligent ones. Thats life. Its a bit of a circus at times.

Listen buddy, less of the judgemental sh it, I came back on here to have Swanswa city discussions, and I'm not going to put up with silly little jibes from keyboard numptys. Now have a decent discussion about the topic and refrain from being billy big man. It doesn't take much to have the decency to have a proper discussion. I have no problem at all with differing opinions, you are just looking for it, it was quite clear that Sully, who I hold in some regard on here was stating the police or stewards should have had more of a handle on this unfortunate incident. I disagreed, gave a point of view which you hijacked, I also stated this clouds the discussion in hand. Simple as that. Now, do yourself a huge favour and participate properly, less of the digs, it upsets the equilibrium, and gets silly.

You told me to 'keep up', yet Sully and I agree that you totally misread Sullys post , there was no blame to police or stewards. Read it over again when sober or not so tired and wind your neck in. You were not missed, if you bring this attitude and aggression to site. Bye p.s. not your buddy or a numpty you condescending pr!ck. [Post edited 22 Jan 2015 2:56]

Good idea. Would be a nice gesture if someone close to the club could arrange for something like this to happen. Assuming the lads want to come back to Swansea again. There's no guarantee these knuckle draggers attend matches, but if they do and they get caught I hope they get a lengthy ban (in addition to criminal charges).

Maybe the club could as well. If only there was some way of contacting one of the directors ...

Like I've said many times on 13:48 - Jan 22 with 1881 views | sixpenses | Indeed if only! Definitely think the club should do this and make the offer up front now to restore their faith in Swansea. Could even offer for them to come down and meet the players at a training session - costs next to nowt, great for the lads and show the club cares.

In fairness SW misconstrued Sully's Point and BJ was just pointing that out when he got told to butt out and it all blew up from there. BJ perfectly entitled to explain a misunderstanding without being told he needs to keep up or has hijacked something it is a forum after all. Ensuing abuse just silly.

Anyway, your still a twunt for making such a fool of yourself, don't think you can judge people and verbally attack them calling them drunk ( I'm a teetotaller ) and other things you have done on here because they don't agree with you. And not only to me but to many on this board and get away with it. If you behaved like that in public you would be regularly waking up with a large crowd round you. [Post edited 22 Jan 2015 15:19]

Like I've said many times on 15:26 - Jan 22 with 1741 views | felixstowe_jack | Sadly not an isolated incident there was one very drunk individual half way down Neath Road who had probably been in the PUB all afternoon. He was sticking his face into anybody was not wearing Swansea Colours asking if they were Chelsea fans and threatening to do them. I had to appologise to several Chelsea Fans who were on their way back to the Station. Not a policeman in site perhaps they need to post one outside the pub (Smith's Arms) next time.

I'm sorry Trampie but that is a truly disgraceful post. Perhaps the young boy is proud to be travelling to another part of the country to support the team he loves and wants to show that by wearing a scarf or shirt? He (and his brother) perhaps were not to know that they going to be attacked by some brain dead animals who in order to make up for their own inadequacies like to get their pathetic little kicks from bullying kids. The only acceptable response of any Swans fan seeing a youngster wearing a Chelsea scarf or shirt after the match on Saturday was to tell them that they had completely outclassed us and to congratulate them on having a great football team. Pathetic.

I would advise fans going to an away game under their own steam eg walking through opposition supporters to a public train station not to wear colours. I went too West ham when the Swans were in Div1, walked down the high street to the ground, no colours and all split up our mob was, West Ham had spotters on street corners and outside pubs, one walked alongside one of our number and asked what the time was ? That was no colours and all split up yet we were still rumbled, everybody should be able to go to every part of the country without fear of attack, but sometimes people do some ill advised things, did nobody tell these lads, use your head now boys this isn't the Kings Rd ?

Meanwhile, Lisa, back in the real world... It would be great if everyone could wear their colours when and where ever they pleased, but sadly it will always be a risk. Also, since the hooliganism of yesteryear seems to have died down to a considerable extent I think there is a younger generation of fans who are less wary of the dangers. What happened to that lad was vile, and hopefully he won't be put off the game for life. He will probably loathe Swansea for life, though. I'll be going to Blackburn this saturday, and have to say that after 40 years of going to games and seeing some sickening things, there is no way I'd ever wear colours - or if I did they'd be well covered once outside the ground. Always be ultra cautious.
