Delph and Colback are hardly head turners. And no England manager could play Lampard and Gerrard together successfully. Maybe because they didn't try anything different?

Fair enough.
I admit to probably being overly harsh to our wingers. The amount of ball they get I feel they should do so much better.
To be fair to dyer he's scored a few goals which on stats rams that down my throat. The amount of times the guy makes me pull my hair out is ridiculous.

Dyer's problem has always been the end product.If he can carry on his form so far this season, it's a big ask, then I'd put him in ahead of all the names mentioned apart from maybe a fit Theo Walcott.
He needs to keep doing it more consistently and then Hodgson would find it difficult to ignore him.
I don't think Shelvey should be in there on current form and Routledge's journeyman tag might be a stumbling block for him.A consistent Dyer though could yet still play for England. |  | | |
