I bought my lad a new xbox360 Go.The only problem i got is it's only 4gb.which I didn't do my homework on when i bought it.This means that he can't play games like GTA5 as there's not enough memory on the console. The point im making is there anyway i can buy some sort of hard drive with more GB and just plug it in? I've seen them on ebay but they are internal ones and i don't fancy pulling the console apart to fit the piece. Is there something out there like a USB type hardrive that i can just plug into the console and go from there and without opening the bloody thing up? All help appreciated, cheers.
Thanks mate but that's the old and original console. He's got the newer version where the hard drive is inside.I've got 2 of those ones you put up but they dont fit the newer version.

If you don't fancy putting a hd in yourself you can go for a usb flash drive. Make sure you get one that has more than what the game needs itself as it is necessary with some extra for the box to configure the extra external storage. Which model exactly is the box ?
Thanks pal but thats an external hard drive you clip onto the side of your console. The one my boy got is a newer version where the hd is inside the console.I've read that you can get some kind of usb dongle that goes slots into the back of your xbox.He xbox he has has is a lot smaller than the one i got and the older version. Thanks for the help though!!

That's what i was hoping for, heres the xbox i bought for him.Hope it shows up as its my ebay account
Everything above 32GB will be wasted as the xbox cannot use more than that as usb flash. Besides that everything should work but note ther will likely be an effect of speed depending on which usb you choose.

Watch the vid and it will show you how to convert a 250gb external HD from the old xbox for use with the new xbox 360
I'm not 100%, but I don't think a flash drive would work where you have to download some of the game such as gta v.
Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.
Thanks for the replies lads but he doesn't want to download any games onto there. He bought GTA5 and it needs 7gb to play it whereas my boys memory is only 4gb.All this stems from this.He plays all his other games no problems bar GTA5
