Parking:

Without wishing to state the bleedin obvious the earlier you get there the more choice you will have. Early street parking is available on Imperial Way between the motorway and the ground, and a number of businesses, factories and warehouses offer their car parks up – although the guide says some charge as much as £7 per car. Street parking in the adjacent business park can result in clamping. There is parking at the motorway junction with a bus up to the ground.

By Train

Thankfully the extensive engineering work that is being carried out at Reading station currently doesn’t seem to be effecting trains on the day of our game. From Paddington journey times are between 33 minutes and an hour and the flat rate is £17.20 for an off peak day return. Fast trains are at 57, 03, 37 and 42 minutes past. Trains also run from Waterloo with a much longer journey time – 1 hour 28 minutes – but they go through Richmond, Twickenham, Feltham, Staines and others which may be more convenient for Rangers fans in those areas.

By Coach:

The club coach leaves Loftus Road at 10.30am with an 11am pick up at the Target Roundabout. This is priced £26 for adults, £16 for seniors and under 21s, and £14 for under 16s. The LSA is not running a coach to this one as so many members are planning to travel by train.

Pubs:

Beer in the ground or in the Irish-themed bar at the nearby Holiday Inn, but otherwise drinking is best done in London before travelling or in the middle of Reading after arriving by train. The Three Guineas near the railway station is traditionally the away fans pub.

Tickets

Rangers have 800 tickets left from their allocation and they are now on general sale. They are priced £32 adults, £23 for seniors and under 21s and £15 for under 16s. These increase by £2 for adults and £1 for concessions for non-season ticket holders and members for some reason. Reading are also offering 42 seats in a mixed family area, adults must be accompanied by children. Wheelchair and ambulant disabled tickets are available at the same prices.

This is not an all ticket fixture and tickets are available on the day subject to availability priced £37 adults, £28 seniors and under 21s and £20 under 16s.
