Just seen the presser.
I think it's a case to go and see players to sell the club....I take that to get deals over the line or attempt to clinch the deal.
Looks like Phillips at Barnsley is being discussed
Dolan sounds like it's a no go.

I would be flattered if manager from abroad came ober to see me, would signal how much they want them and that is what they are hoping to achieve.

Sunday is a day off.
He will be over and back in 1 day and will be ready for training Monday morning.
If it's to get a deal or 2 over the line then it's fine with me. |

He won't be going there off his own back, I would suspect he has been asked to go over to show the player/s how much they are wanted.....even the manager has come over to see you.

He had 10 points when signed this meaning an appeal could be made to gain a WP.
If he got it, I don't know.

Follow up on this.
I was checking this player at Cardiff have signed and he doesn't seem to have the points total for a WP and has the same critera as Milleskog to take one of the 4 non WP slots.
Our issue is, we have 4 players taking up the non EU lots I believe, one of those slots opens up once a player has been here 12 months meaning that 1 opens up on the 29th of this month(Ronaldo).
My take is, the 4 players are
Ronaldo
Eom
Bianchini
And I believe Vipotnik.
Franco had enough points to gain a WP but I am still not sure regards Vipotnik, pending on Vipotnik then we my have another slot available if he qualified for a WP when we signed him. |

It's just over 3M for him, he was contracted until 2028 just as Milleskog is, they will be looking for a similar fee for Milleskog now.
I dont see Milleskog getting a WP and don't see him getting the quotas required as one of the 4 non WP allowances.
I have no doubt a winger is being lined up but don't see it being Milleskog or that Blackburn lad. |

We need to juggle the wages, we need to get wages off the books to allow us room to be able to pay the wages of incoming players without going past our limit.
We clearly have scope at the moment to get one in but the outgoings will free up more wages to bring a couple more in.
We can't sign a player from abroad unless they have a WP until Jan 29th. |

Bids have been turned down about 3/4 days after they have gone in.
I would suggest they are happy with the amounts but not how they are structured. It's either going to take a higher initial outlay or a higher fee in total down the line. |

Great news for Dan Edwards and fully deserved.
He needs to be put in at 10, he will be around for another 10yrs.
Lad has talent, great hands and isn't afraid to take and give a hit.

He has Lloyd and Abdullah involved so younger players are having chances.
I could argue that defensively one of the U21s should be involved but I would be naive to actually force it as Lissah is out injured as the others are nowhere near good enough.
He has made the call on Ginnelly so I am happy with that, we need minutes under his belt. |

There is a lot of juggling going on and moving some players out on loan will open up things regards wages.
Deals can be done with payments done done the line but wages scope regards to FFP are the issue.
We have a certain one or 2 guys in the club with money and willing to spend but FFP is the hurdle.
The Pedersen wage will make life a bit easier come the summer, we can shift some loans out to give us breathing space this month until the summer then that is the ideal scenario to bring some decent arrivals in. |
