Albeit against low opposition. But you can see the crispness of his passing. His movements. He’s a natural.
Does he have the toughness needed in the championship is another matter.

He is someone who can play attractive passing football.
He is able to play differently depending on opposition and has proved this.
These 2 points alone, probably put him out of our price range.
It’s shocking.

The types you mention are either too good for us, too expensive, or Wayne Rooney/Frank Lampard types, who are arguably shite.
I haven’t got a clue who to bring in.
Chris Davies type would be my choice.
Rohl type like at Weds.
Young and fresh.

I didn’t think we were doing too bad before that goal.
I can see why we don’t score enough, but I do think this is our best front 4, in terms of off the ball stuff. All strong and determined, quite strong tacklers.
I’m no expert on pressing, but they all seem to do their bit. Especially compared to Vipo and Eom.
Cullen can often be seen painting and instruction the others where to go. Seems good off the ball.
On the ball, we do seem slow and choose the longer, safer pas back to the CBs/Vig, when someone, usually franco or a winger has moved into a little space close by. A little pass to them, with a quick triangle, seems the pass to me every time . Yet it’s not used 🤷♂️ |

I do think the style needs changing, but not drastically.
We are always going to be a passing style possession based type of vibe.
Just need a manager with a few more ideas. Someone Potter-esque, if you will |

Surely we know what style of play and what kind of players fit this club.
We should be buying managers that fit the players here and the style we want, not buying players to fit what style the managers want |
