Great report. However, I'm surprised you liked the ref. I thought he was a contributory factor to the awful first half. He was blowing for everything. Every coming together, every fall over when brushed gently. I was under the impression, that you like a ref who lets these things go, to improve the flow of the game.

As for Armstrong, I think Marti was wise not to bring him on. If he had come on and started throwing his weight around, Eltringham wouldn't have liked it and we would have more attacks break down as a result and a potential card as well.
