Funny killy never sees the irony of wanting independence from a democratic UK only to surrender it to the Undemocratic EU. He never accepts that the UK, including Wales, democratically voted the leave the EU. He also refuses the accept that 80% of the Welsh population don't want independence. |

Correct when equality was announced us men were hoping we would get Equality with women and get our state pensions at 60. Even 5 years backdated pension of approximately £40,000. No such luck. |

Inflation up again in figures released today. In July it was 1.7% now it is 2.6% and predicted to go higher when all labour's extra taxes come into effect from April. |

I don't think Assad was protecting anyone but his own. The dead bodies of 300,000 Syrians, mostly civilians, his forces with the aid of Russia have killed is testament to his brutal treatment of own people. Strange how Russia has complained about the killing of a Russia soldier while it continues to target Ukraine civilians on a daily basis. The Russian state is more than happy to continue to allow 100s of ordinary soldiers to be killed on a daily basis. |

Strange men knew about it at the time. We all wondered if we would now get our pensions at 60 the same as women. No suck luck equally meant women would get their pensions at the same age as men. |

Well the Russians have and they targeted civilians as usual. The UK and USA attached Syrian military target in response to chemical attacks by Syria on civilians. |

Don't agree with you at all. Scotland is working class and voted to remain. A higher percentage of middle class voted to leave than working class. I am sorry you fear and hate foreigners. |

Unfortunately the unions don't want 7 day rotas. They are more than happy to claim inflated overtime rates for working weekends. More people already work in the Nationalised sector of the Rail work , 40,000 in network rail alone, the private train companies. Subsidies are far less than now than before privatisation due ti the success of the private Rail companies in doubling passenger numbers compared with nationaliSed British Rail. Subsidies peaked after Network Rail was nationalised and have reduced significantly in recent years with most of the Subsidies being paid to nationalised network Rail. |

Brexit was a democratic choice by the majority of voters. They thought the EU was not democratic. It has not whatsoever to do with Xenophobia. The majority of the UK population don't hate or fear foreign people. Not like you to be controversial. |

Don't think anyone is calling you a Jerk. We all have different views in a democracy and we have to accept democratic decisions even if we did not vote that way. |

Looks like Starmer and Rayner are planning to cancel some local elections in the Spring. Looks very undemocratic but one way to keep labour in office in these councils. Another policy not contained in thier manifesto. |

Still not accepting a democratic decision by the people of the successful United Kingdom including Wales. Still believing the lies of the remainers. The undemocratic EU is in trouble you only have to see the reactions of the people of France, Germany and Poland to their leaders. |

As you well know all of the Rail network is nationalised, network Rail. At least three of the train companies are already nationalised and more to follow. The government pay large Subidies to network Rail and rail companies and there have a say in pay negotiations.. ASLEF and RMT have joint negotiations with the Rail operators to avoid separate negotiations with many Rail operators. The Labour government told the Rail operating companies they were all going to be nationalised so all workers will soon be public sector workers. Given this situation the Rail operating companies just gave into Union demands knowing that shortly they would no longer exist. |

China is a dictatorships that ignores laws on interectual property rights and patents. It certainly is not a free capitalist economy Last time I looked it was not in Europe. [Post edited 16 Dec 11:27]

Except for the three train companies that they have already privatised. |
