I think thats harsh ,
He came over here because of Beale when his partner was pregnant. Beale left after a few months . Amongst all of the others who downed tools at that point he was available and played throughout Critchley Ainsworth and now Marti .
He has scored some important goals in a team that doesnt score many . He also has a decent amount of assists to his name .
We spent all summer trying to offload him , then find we have no LB alternative . He is a "proffessional " he plays for money . I think he has acted like one in his time here and its unfair to dig him out for trying to get the best deal for his future. [Post edited 15 Dec 11:23]

It’s simply because there is an opponent equally experienced fit and able who has trained all week to stop them doing as you would like them to do . They are not negligent or stupid , just outplayed Its laughable when people compare their day jobs with football . Try doing an office job while some bloke is detailed to sweep everything off your desk all day . In addition sometimes they make a mistake .. . |

If we are in the top half of the table by January(we are just 4 points off ) , having effectively "re- signed" Chair, JCS, Colback . Frey , Celar with Dembele to follow and adding one or two others ...why not start looking up the table ? |

When he says "we" he means in his previous position as lead consultant ,so basically him . He "supported" the club in changing manager , he researched and decided on a style of play and engaged a manager who understood that that the playing style had been decided by data and was not for changing . |

I gave always thought he was steady , scored some vital goals , some important assist , links up well with Chair and .. he is the only genuine LB we have . I am not a fan of playing full backs on the "wrong" side |

Even if his recruitment turns out to be OK, he is still taking us for fools .
The rubbish saying there is no money for transfers then producing Anderson and Frey .
Not letting Marti speak to Clive pre season or attend the fans forum then trying to kid us that Marti JCS and Dembele had all signed new contracts just in time for the forum .
Cobblers about how long he has been in football and rumours of Martis replacement surfacing on a website he is involved with . Not divulging length of contracts to gain an "advantage"
No recruitment is perfect but a bit of openess about how we started the season , light on strikers and the Paal / Larkesch balls up would be welcome.
Lastly allowing Ben Williams to be retained but not present when we are going through an injury crisis that had us in the bottom three needs to ge explained .
It feels dismissive and patronising IMO |
