I just started getting into music when the Jam were in their pomp. The golden age of the 7" single (sales wise.)

Music seemed to be more tribal back then (maybe it always was) but in my neck of the woods almost everyone liked the Jam.

My music was 2Tone but it was 'permissable' to like the Jam. They were a great singles band.

Sad to hear this. 69 too soon in this day and age.

I had assumed that it was all the extra traffic from Eastern Asia.

Speed seems to have improved now.

I love it.

My linguistics are not good enough to know whether that is K-Pop or J-Pop!

Agree. As per my post above surely one of the Championship, League 1 or League 2 final day schedules will move to a different day. I can’t see how else Sky will do it unless they ignore ( I.e decide not to show) the finale of one or more of these divisions.

Indeed. On May 3rd there’s also a full Premier league schedule and Leagues 1 & 2 all currently listed with 3pm starts.

So if Sky want to show any season denouements, something has to move under the current rules.

I mean we are assuming a move to 12.30 but who’s to say that it won’t be half 5 or some other abomination.

Can’t find any internet traffic to substantiate this, seems that this is just a wind up by the OP.

Absolutely great. I really like the balance of the panel. Can’t recommend this enough.

Exactly where I was with the Jimmy Dunne situation better than I was articulating my thoughts on the message board.

Thanks All.I am keeping my options open.

Has anyone managed to successfully travel via the ‘Arena’ train station or is that definitely a no-no?

Agree with this.

What would be the point of taking up a single year option and then loaning him out for the duration.

Just because that’s crazy, doesn’t mean it isn’t exactly what we’ve done.

My LO mate thinks he’s OOC this summer.

My mate who is a LO ST holder, says he is much improved this season from when they had him before in 2022-23.

The stats also seem to bear this out.

The CBS (ex-Ricoh) Arena, getting to and from
at 18:00 8 Feb 2025

by Public Transport?

Another new stadium for me on this season’s odyssey. I can see why I have avoided this one before because it looks an absolute ball-ache.

Is it (still?) true that the Coventry Arena station is shut immediately before and after games? If not, given there is only an hourly service, what chance is there of actually getting on one of these trains?

I am more than happy to use buses (pleb that I am) but even this looks tricky.

The CCFC website (un)helpfully states ‘Please note that after the game, crowd control measures will be in place to segregate home and away supporters. This means that away fans will be unable to turn left outside of the stadium towards the Arena Shopping Park.’ Whatever that means?!

Any advice / pointers received with much thanks. I am in no particular hurry because I am staying in the city centre (i.e. not traveling back to London that night.)

Cheers.
