We should have received or are receiving payment for his loan to Orient. Maybe that's why he was given a year's contract extension. Not sure he'll get another extension though.
Interesting. Larkeche returned to QPR for treatment when he sustained his hamstring injury in November. He was expected to return to action by the end of January. It would make sense to recall him from his loan now..
That's the best thing for the lad. He might even return a better player that could push on at QPR, but more likely it puts him in the shop window for a move.
Might it leave us a little short? We've not got the biggest squad but I guess we can put Talla or Aoraha on the bench in EDB's place.
There's no denying these stats are just awful. The only excuse I can think is, there's something going on in his life we don't know about that's affecting him. He has the skills and equipment but won't/can't apply them. Just speculation on my part.
Quite probably the strangest game I've ever seen - actually hardly seen at all - owing to the fog. That drab mustard kit meant we were all but invisible - we should have worn the black kit. And why was an orange ball not used? Then there was the ice on the underside of the roof slowly melting resulting in large drops of ice water dropping on us throughout while we stood in absolute brass monkeys weather trying to keep ourselves from slipping on ice underfoot. And, of course, the score line...
