pleased for him that he got those Cardiff goals and they were much needed for us as a club and for him as a player but I'm not sure he's got it to play at this level and for me we look a much better team without him but I hope he proves me wrong |

A lot of those games were early in the season. All logic points to we'll finish roughly where we are now which would be a very good season but there is nothing really to fear from the teams above us. I don't look at Bristol City up in 8th and think they are miles better than us.
Last season when we looked cut adrift I thought if we could cut the gap to 3 points or less going into the last month we'd have a good chance, is similar going the other way, if we have a good March and win next week, which is far from certain, we'll be in a pretty healthy position
I should add I don't think we will do it but it's nice to dream and the board has felt a bit negative this week considering we just won 4-0 |

I've always been in the playoffs are unliklely camp but when you see the teams we are competing with, Norwich, Boro, Watford, Sheff Wed, Bristol City, West brom, Coventry and Blackburn none of them are particuarly brilliant who we should be worried about.
What might cost us if not beating or at least taking points off Coventry & Sheff Wed when we had the chance as we don't have many games against those around us so wil be relying on other teams as well as an incredible run from ourselves
That win the other night though and if we can back it up on Saturday makes next month a very exciting opportunity for us |

Exactly this, what have we got to lose, this defeatist attitude that we can't do it is madness.
Blackburn are 5th and we just beat them, a Coventry side we should have beaten the other night are only a point off it now
Lets try and win every game and make it an exciting end to the season. |

I thought that was Varanes best performance for us, he was really impressive last night and seemed to get better as the game wore on, that little rest he's had last few games hasreally helped, he looked fresh |

really enjoyed the listen, Jim sounded like my wife when you got onto the playoffs, although she laughs at me and my son a lot more whenever we say "You know I think we could do it this year"
Even after sitting here agreeing saying yeah of course it won't happen and secretly still worrying about the bottom 3, I then look at the table and think but if we win thenext 2 we are in with a chance and if Blackburn can do it why not us. |

I genuinley spent most of Monday, Tuesday & wednesday going back over every fixture we played and working out who the opposition manager was which has meant my day job has been horrific today catching up with a weeks worth of work in a day |

Eustace will be the first manager in our history to take charge of back to back games against us at Loftus Road for different clubs
Last time we faced the same manager at home 2 games in a row was Danny Wilson for Barnsley in 1997 when Spencer got a hat trick and Sinclair scored that goal |
