I thoroughly agree - this forum has been a help to me in difficult times, plenty of like-minded folk mostly really good humoured. The Covid period being a case in point.

The fourth official has indicated a minimum of five additional refs getting the sack. Five additional refs getting the sack.

Any more nonsense from this football club and I'll rattle off a stiff letter to the Times.
That'll teach 'em.

Unwelcome Stats
at 22:08 12 Nov 2024

The amazing thing is despite these stats, we're still in the second top flight.
I was crap at maths at school, although brilliant at everything else.
If you believe that you're as gullible as our owners !

I Know Mozart was only 3 when he composed his first symphony but 26 is too young to be CEO of a pro football club.
As Mark Twain said - “when I was 16 I though my father knew nothing about anything. When I reached 21, I was amazed how much he'd learned”.
Oh, 'ang on… Mozart was 13 when he composed his first symphony.

As always, the fans are considered superfluous.
Reminds me of the poem-
It's Tommy this and Tommy that and Tommy wait outside,
But it's “good old Tommy Atkins” when the troopship's on the tide.
Sorry, I'm in my cups and as always on Sunday evening, awaiting Clive's report.

I remember somebody chucking a lump of concrete through the office plate glass door on SA Rd.
People seem to be more acquiescent (ooh), these days despite society being more violent and unruly than at any time since 1398.
I would like the crowd to sing Marti's name interspersed with chants of Nourry Out at the Stoke game.

This season though, I feel it's unique.
The number of new players coming through the door must be a record . How many is it ?
Of this multitude, only one is an unqualified success and that's Nardi. Maybe Saito as well, but he's only here on loan.

Nourry is very addicted to Greek mythology and with that in mind, wants to see how we fare in the Isthmian league.
