I watch almost nil television but at the behest of my wife Colinette, have just watched the last episode of Wolf Hall and found it spellbinding. I shall watch the rest on catch-up or whatever it's called.
I must again salute our away fans. Before I got into my dotage, I used to go to I guess about 70% of away games. But it was relatively easy - 3pm kickoffs, decent trains and about 40p for a pint of wallop.
I've noticed that in the prematch warm up, players send magnificent volleys goalwards but when the game starts suddenly it all goes awry. Nerves get the better of them I suppose.
