The ones that look after the pitch are the ones who take umbrage with the knee slide. It really beggars up the grass.

Smashed it, top bins, and bangers.

The latest idiom I’ve seen travel across the pond from here is the use of ‘super’

‘Super’ excited and the most cringeworthy ‘super’ awesome

This fishing show I’m watching has 2 footballers fishing. Zamora and an Ipswich player Ali Hadeed.
Full on ‘Football Bantz’

Last night I caught another banger, followed by yes, a 36lb banging carp. Great trekkers as well to describe Zamora’s angling. I kid you not.

Sisters of mercy played here recently. Was going to go but checked a few things out on the tube of you. Shocking. My mate went, and I told him, said people were laughing at the whole sham.
The band were using gibsons and Marshall amps. That ain’t gonna sound right for a start.

When did these enter the football/life vocabulary.

Fishing show with Zamora, he’s ok, and some other guy using them like they are going out of fashion. Talking like a footballer being interviewed with the immortal questions

a. Talk me through etc
b. How did it feel etc

Just sounds ridiculous

The funny bone is a nerve that runs along the outside of the elbow. When it bangs or rubs up against the humerus, one of the bones in your upper arms, it creates the strange burning or tingling sensation from which it gets it name.

QPR triumph in five-goal 75 thriller against Stoke - History

Craziest and loudest game I’ve been at. Apart from when Keegan scored against us up there on his debut.

My dad used to lift me over the wall into the area at the front the loft. He wouldn’t take me to the Chelsea game,he was right. Leicester game remember being so deflated thinking this might be our year. Huge crowd and atmosphere as well. My dad drove us in his van and we took a few school mates reguay to games. Mick S being was one of them. Hello Sir.

Can also recall it very vividly being feet away from George Best, and Charlton, at one of their corners. I was just starting at him thinking that’s George Best. Had the same occurrence recently with Johnny Marr as I blagged a front row seat at a Johnny Marr/James gig recently in DC.

It was such a real life affirming time for me going to football back then. The ground, the crowd and the best football shirt in the world.

Half decent tv

Seems heavy going shows are modi operandi currently. Breaking bad probably the forerunner.
No objection from me considering how bloody good they are. Have to take a break every now and then for something less bleak and grim though. Almas not normal for example.

Got to watch the team training and the reason because Warburton gave the ok. A real gentleman that day. Eze was on a different level to everyone else that day as well.
