Whatever star it is, I am sure they will all have central heating this winter. Do you think it's unreasonable for British citizens who have paid taxes for 60 years, to think it's unfair that they go cold whilst unknown men, who have never paid into this country, from another country get it for free?
I have an American friend, who voted for Trump. For contrast, I voted Labout in the last election here, but I haven't been impressed. I asked him why he voted for Trump, as he clearly controversial.
He and many Americans, do not like being told what to think and say. For example, he has no problem with a biological male calling himself Tracy and a she, wearing a dress if he likes, crack on, but he does have a problem with being told he must also call him she, must agree that he looks good in a dress, when he disagrees. Having to call a person with a beard and stubble a woman, is ridiculous he says and Trump supports people with this view. There is also chaos in terms of right and wrong, with men dressed as a woman walking into female toilets, because it's a grey area, when the vast majority think it shouldn't be. Again Trump supports the simple view, of men in men's toilets and women in women's. The vast majority think that there are two genders men and woman. But the vast majority are told to accept that its not true (when it is).
He is also has the view that the breakdown of law and disorder is due to "woke" policies that have created an "immoral" society where anything goes. Immigration - many Americans feel that nothing is being done, to know about, deport, or monitor foreign criminals coming into the country. Some don't have papers, so they don't know who it is coming in.
Closer to home, these are issues many are worried about here. The Lies - successive governments lie. The Tories said that they would bring down immigration, build 50.hospitals etc. Then Labour were elected for a change, saying they wouldn't put up taxes for working people. That was another lie. They said they would tackle the people smugglers and gangs. Any evidence of this? Immigrants are still coming over on boats, many to their death. And taking away the winter fuel allowance for our pensioners, whilst immigrants continue to placed in 5 star hotels. If you have paid your taxes for 60 years, and are a British citizen, we will take away your fuel allowance at 80 years old. If you have just arrived on a small boat, welcome to the Savoi Hotel.
Many feel strongly about these issues,.it can't be denied. The more it isnt spoken about, the more it's denied, the more these people with these views are told to shut up, the more likely it is that we too will have a far right Farage government at the next election. I.am not saying it's a good thing, but I.understand why people feel that their genuine concerns are not being addressed.
And remember everyone, we have free speech (well do we??) and all of us are entitled to our opinions. The shut down of debate, hasn't been a good thing. Society is in more chaos then ever before.
Absolutely. I am not paying £22 for a boring 3rd round game on TV, on a Sunday. Swansea are boring as you like. We won't win the FA Cup anyway. It's like a friendly game. I'm glad very few tickets have been sold because it sends a clear message, that it's overpriced. The owners are money grabbing idiots. I'm glad the fans have said f@ck you.
It's such a a shame that the FA Cup has lost its magic. Always loved FA Cup final day, when it used to be such a magical, wonderful day. It's now the same teams winning it every year. There is.no.point even being in it.
No we haven't signed a striker for 30 million. Our new signing is another 18 year old for the future! Sport Republic looking for another profit making young player to miraculously become incredible.
Initially I liked Juric. But results dictate. We just needed an experienced PL manager like David Moyes or Potter. But firstly they wouldn't come. Nobody would work for these pathetic owners at a club in chaos. Secondly, the players are so poor, I am not sure if anyone could.make a difference. The top managers run a mile and they always will because they know this club is heading for disaster.
And Pompey fans already posting it everwhere. Continually being utterly embarrassed, is going to be too much for fans to take. We have half a season yet, of many more thrashings to come. There will trouble at St Mary's soon I would imagine.
And how many times have fans said don't blame the players? It's the manager, his tactics, his motivation, yet these players are sh!ts. They clearly didnt tackle, or give any effort. They down tools and don't try. So what are we going to do about it?
I know, let's change the manager for the 50th time. These players on 50 thousands pounds a week arn't being motivated. Let's blame the manager.
Or we could abuse the owners and players for embarrassing loyal fans yet again. Boo them, show them how disgusting they are? Really make them feel as uncomfortable as the loyal fans. Not at our club, let's just pretend it's the manager at fault (again and again).
So the players get away with it they know the fans blame the manager, the owners the same, so what happens? The excuses mean that the real culprits carry on destroying our club.
Protest and make their lives unbearable. Newcastle fans did it with Ashley. Now look at them. You get games abandoned by throwing tennis balls on the pitch. You sing and swear at the directors box. You make make it known that we want them out. Create chaos and force them out.
I bet he looked at that result today and thought, "It wasn't my style of play, the team is just useless. Phew, I can go into my.next job with confidence"
Yep. They have given up. SR have assembled a terrible squad. Even if the players give blood, swear and tears, (West Ham.at home comes to mind) we still lose because we can't score and always make a mistake. So I assume they have just given up hope. They can't win if they try, so might as well not bother.
They have spent millions on various managers and millions.on terrible players. Brentford who have kept the same manager for years, have spare money to spend on the team. The vicious circle just goes round and round.
