I'm glad Wolves blew that lead in '76 now. Too soon? |

I'd agree with all of that, Bristol. That's why I always add the proviso that he "might" be great, because he really might! I mean, I'd love it, proper Keegan-style, if he was, but I'm just wary. |

We don't know who the call was from, really, and we don't know if the person making the call agreed with it or was just told to make the call. And, let's be honest, others might have a different version altogether. I loved listening to him, though. The problem with interviews like this is that human nature dictates that they will be biased and one-eyed, but with Warburton the fist might be iron but the glove is oh-so-smooth. |

He's only done two years ever in the role, Numpty. We might like him, and he might love us, and he might be a huge success - who knows? - but it's still only two years of experience. [Post edited 14 Nov 8:15]

I'd be wary about him coming back as a DoF as I just don't think he has the experenece required, and he has a track record of falling out with people and clubs, but I do really like that man and look forward to watching this later. |

Saddened to hear this earlier, and I don't normally get sad about celebrities passing. Like others, though, I loved watching him and Pru meandering down canals. Such a lovely couple and such a lovely programme. God, he loved her! Poor Pru. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal. |

I agree with you to a huge extent, Ned. Speaking just for me personally, though, I always worry about the long-term future of the club and the people running it. And because of those worries, some of the years where I felt most estranged from the club were actually when we had success on the pitch. Nourry's running of the club has had me worried since the day he arrived. Worried about his abilities and worried, yet again, about the abilities of the people who appointed him. |

That should make for an interesting corridor chat between Cifuentes and his boss: "So, your website says you're replacing me..." |

Ya. A couple of times when we were first back in the Premier League. Home to some bogball team around Christmas time and a week or so later away to Arsenal. Football was unambitious, weather was freezing, and I felt no connection to the players whatsoever. Left both to go to the pub. |

"What I mean is that you have two basic viewing options: 'For you' or 'Following'. So I use 'Following' and that's it: I get the feeds I've chosen." I never copped that! God, I'm getting old, amn't I? Thanks Hubble. |

All my regular feeds on photography, music, books etc have been swamped for some months now. Instead, I'm getting lots and lots of violence - fights, car crashes etc - hatred of every type imaginable, and - yes, lots of porn. And, for the last week I'm getting hundred of Arsenal feeds. Arsenal...oh, the humanity! |
