ok well i can't blame the welsh team itself but something isnt right.
The whole situation is a joke.
*worlds most expensive player sits on the bench for his national team. unfit?? pfffttt
* the FAW is a complete joke and no manager/team/club has anything good to say about them
*we lose 2-1 to Macedonia
This is the greatest season there could ever be for Welsh football to start growing. The FAW should really start capitalizing on the fact that Wales has two major teams in the premier league and get everyone together to sort out the WPL. Make it into a league which people can be proud of.
as for the national team? why play top players? Give the national team positions to players in the WPL. why not? we may get thumped 8-0, but who cares, because we wont qualify for anything as it stands anyway.
time to shake things up.

Giggs only missed friendlies though, from memory - and I don't necessarily have a problem with that. When we've so few quality players, it's the rest of the team aroud them that needs working on.
The fact remains, the FAW are f***wits with their insistance on a Welsh manager. Coleman from memory nearly got Fulham relegated, was crap at Coventry, mediocre at Real Sociedad(?) and ended up with a Greek 2nd division side, claiming no "British side wanted to play the style he wanted to use".
And then appointing Hartson... someone who got his coaching qualifications somehow and then has spectaclarly avoided any real roles using them domestically. Jobs for the boyos mentality prevalent within the FAW.
Going to get slated for this, but quite frankly, we've got talent in Bale and Rambo going forward. The rest of the side needs to be well organised. I'd go with Pulis if the FAW only want a Welsh manager. Like his style or not, his Stoke teams were always well organised, tough to break down which is precisely what we need right now. Things have got to be stabilised before being taken forward o we waste yet another generation of talent. |

Is it just my brain playing tricks on me but do our players look a shadow of theirselves when playing for Wales? They seem to struggle playing alongside lesser players like Gunter, Ricketts, Bellamy and Vokes. |

A complete overhaul is required from the 21's to the first team.Coleman needs to go as the players are clearly not motivated by him.On paper we should be beating the likes of Macedonia hands down.We'll probably play well against the Serbians though and last nights result will be forgotten.It would be madness to get rid of Coleman right now as we need the stability to get some points and further our chances in next times seedings but as soon as this campaign is over we need a change and him to go.

Funnlily enough by brothers boy is playing for the Academy and my brother mentioned they'll be on the full sized pitch tomorrow against Coventry,11 aside.He's under 12's now.It's going to be interesting to see how it all pans out.I'm going down so will watch with keen interest. | | | |

I argued that when my team went from 7 aside to full side 9 yrs ago and still it goes on, Welsh Football is still years away from what's actually needed at Professional level let alone amature or childrens level.
There's is hope though as Welsh Rugby managed to to turn itself around, with the help of innovative people like the Aussie who's name escapes me. | |

Not so sure.
About time we put a Eurpean in charge.
At least offer a package that attracts an international manager with a track record and an assistant.
The FAW would need a restructuring and commercial overhaul so that funds could be made available for strengthening the profressional coaching staff.
Maybe Huw would be available as Consultant on succession planning and organisational planning? |  | | |
