Apple TV (non QPR) - 22:37 - May 23 with 2821 views | slranger40 | Only seen some YouTube clips of shouty Americans talking rubbish, so still none the wiser (sadly) as to how it will works. Anyone got one? If so, anyone jail-broken one? Is it easy/ difficult? (Legal?) Are the any use/good? thinking about using it for a sky replacement. Will it do? Most importantly, Can I watch the football on it? Advice /help much appreciated. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Its quite straightforward to jailbreak, lots of youtube vids etc. showing you how. I've installed XBMC on mine which gives you access to films, TV shows etc. Works really well but I wouldn't say its a replacement for Sky, i.e no live sky sports for example.

If you add sports devil into XBMC you can get the live sports

Is it easy to add the channels in etc? Also are you using wifi , if so does the streaming work ok over it?

You can use wifi, but as my router is next to the TV I have it wired, adding channels is very simple, just used a you tube guide to do it
