Are we suddenly one of the most hated Prem teams? 10:21 - Aug 16 with 3688 views | queensparker | Seems like it to me. Reading that Swansea preview, I think we're going to see a lot more of that type of thing this season. Was chatting to a Spurs mate the other day and he said the same, along the lines of "it's weird, everyone used to quite like QPR, but we all hate you now". Why is it? All the money we're spending (no more than, say, Fulham over the years)? Having the unpopular Warnock / Hughes as managers? Flavio and his 'boutique' bollox which everyone thinks is still hanging around? Barton's performance on the last day? A new generation of fans who have no idea of our history? The fact we actually are able to raise an atmosphere at home which frightens the Prem JCLs? The idea we 'got away with it' on the Faurlin saga? All of the above?

Are we suddenly one of the most hated Prem teams? on 11:50 - Aug 16 by bob566 | a good few of my mates who all support liverpool, city, spuds to name a few never had a problem until we signed Barton. They all say the same to me now "can't look out for the qpr result while you have that scumbag there" |
And that's a fine example of why they can all eff off. There we were, shafted by Tango and Cash when we needed to strengthen for a new League. Sudenly a proven player in a position we needed was available for a price we could afford - WTF were we supposed to do? City put Tevez back in their side when they needed him and Liverpool have Suarez but apparently their fans think we should have taken the moral high ground and accepted relegation.

Are we suddenly one of the most hated Prem teams? on 12:10 - Aug 16 by adhoc_qpr | How do you know that any of those clubs were in for the same players though? Zamora signed 95% for the cash and 5% because he didn't like Jol i'd guess. The fact he didn't have to move house probably helped too. The £10m you spent on Bryan Ruiz would pay our wage bill for a while i'd suspect though and i doubt Petric, Rodallega and Dembele etc were childhood Fulham fans. |
The thing that gets me is that we haven't been throwing money around. Most of our new players have come in on frees. Manure just spent 35 million on a player. If I am not mistaken, Faurlin is our most expensive signing ever at 7 million.

Are we suddenly one of the most hated Prem teams? on 23:02 - Aug 16 with 434 views | Seth_Gecko | The simple answer is yes. Do I give a f*ck? No. As for the comment earlier about Arsenal being the '2nd team' for a lot of people... I wish to never meet these scoundrels.

Are we suddenly one of the most hated Prem teams? on 12:43 - Aug 16 by adhoc_qpr | 7th place, UEFA cup qualification or a cup win is pretty much the upper limit of what any club outside of the big boys can achieve in the premiership though! I think we all know ambition is just one of those words people throw around. I'd love to see a club come from no where to win the prem or even take 4th place - like Montpellier in France did last season - but it just won't happen. |
Very close with Newcastle last season. Didn't see that coming at the start of the season. Some great signings in the Jan window, not least Pappa Cisse. In fact Cisse turned out to be a good name to sign in that window!
