Great preview until the last line where you picked us to lose Clive. Are you hoping your streak of picking us to lose (and we win or draw ) continues like some reverse physcology terrible spelling I know haha . With our good fortune finally showing up we will get a penalty tonight and Madsen will bury it and QPR will win a second home game in a row to make this place even happier .

Frankly, idealism is just that - idealistic - and seldom works in the real world unless you have the resources to support it. Pragmatism comes in many shades and the one on show towards the back end of last season and which has made a reappearance in recent matches, will do for me.

Excellent point, and a great line.
On a general note, I would prefer to see us be better with the ball, because I think that's the best way to win titles, but I don't think we have the squad right now to play that way.

You and me both, Brian. In the meantime we have to learn to walk before we can run. Tonight's match was definitely a darker shade of pragmatism!

Trying to do my bit. Though at half time I thought I was going to be scary close to the truth.
