Madsen today 18:35 - Dec 7 with 4451 views | numptydumpty | Noticed Madsen was a lot more pacey in chasing down today and actually won two or three decent challenges. Sometimes you have to hold your hands up to some players and say well done. They are all talented players otherwise they would not get the opportunities in this league but as young men getting shed loads of grief from fans and bearing in mind also they are all living in a foreign land out of their home environment a d comforts, it takes some guts to gradually improve when fans are getting on your back. Appreciate some will say it's the bare minimum expected but I thought he played well today and definitely credit where credit is due. Keep going sire !!

Madsen today on 18:45 - Dec 7 with 3536 views | Burnleyhoop | Definitely a player there. Along with Varane, Saito, Nardi and Morris, good progress now being made. Jury out on the rest, but perhaps they just need more time. What a time for Kolli to make his mark. A run in the side now beckons. Time to shine young man.
Madsen today on 18:49 - Dec 7 with 3457 views | BrizR | In particular the second Kolli goal comes from a Norwich mistake as Madsen presses the player on the ball. He is slowly coming good, and looks much better in a 3. Another good game for Varane too.
Madsen today on 19:12 - Dec 7 with 3247 views | Wegerles_Stairs | He was great today. Pressed, got involved, got a kick, played some nice balls. Really good to see.
Madsen today on 19:15 - Dec 7 with 3229 views | Beckenhamhoop | His corners are also an improvement on the failure to beat the first man that we’ve had to endure for the last couple of seasons. His corners caused havoc against Watford and we scored from one today. It’s a shame, at 6’4” that he can’t be on the end of them as well.
Madsen today on 19:18 - Dec 7 with 3197 views | queensparker | In the last three games he’s done a ton of hard yards when we don’t have the ball, chasing down and closing everything off. I think he’ll come good, he’s learning what the Championship is all about. Put in some tackles and took a few licks.
Madsen today on 19:22 - Dec 7 with 3167 views | daveB | i don't see it with him, thought he was poor again and was even taken off corners as they were dreadful
Madsen today on 19:46 - Dec 7 with 2997 views | Hoopstar | He's definitely noticeably quicker over 5-10 yards and getting stuck in a lot more. Could do without his attempts to play clever flicks in our own half though - get us into trouble more often than not. Clearly is some talent in there and the best option there. Feel optimistic about him.
Madsen today on 19:46 - Dec 7 with 3000 views | FDC | Did anyone else find the free kick decoy routine with Paal a bit odd? Madsen moved to take it, then stopped, time passed, people aged, ice bergs melted to the sea, then Paal finally took the free kick for real. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It foxed Norwich enough for Kolli's first!
Madsen today on 20:19 - Dec 7 with 2812 views | Hooping_Mad | It looked to me liked Norwich were trying to avoid him and he was left chasing things a bit. Positionally he looked spot on most of the time.

Precautionary Marti says as he felt a tight hamstring.
Madsen today on 22:53 - Dec 7 with 2279 views | NorthantsHoop | Improvements all round from the new boys, Madsen is finding his feet so to speak and getting more involved game by game. Thought Varane was ok today but does have a habit of being over elaborate on the ball with too many opponents around him and turning into trouble, caught out a couple of times. Saito a real diamond worked hard again for the team and Morrison doing well, but still working up his fitness. Morgan still learning his trade some loose passes, but like the way he tries to rectify his mistakes, nearly scored. Ashby had a good 2nd half another one finding his feet in the team. Nardi is excellent but not really had much to do really as Norwich were quite poor on the attack.

Interesting game from Morgan. I thought his best one so far. Matched up to the Norwich midfielders really well. Yes, one or two misplaced passes but that will come with experience. He is going to be our next Sam Field. When he fills out he's gonna boss it !
Madsen today on 23:03 - Dec 7 with 2194 views | QPROslo | He seems to be getting better off the ball but this looks to have come at the cost of his playmaking with it. I'll take both.

I think he is fine, he's upped is work rate and is starting to adjust, given the conditions never going to suit his passing style. You'd never have thought we had scored from one of his corners today given some of the comments. Paal only came over to give it a go at an in swinger as the wind was blowing so hard so putting one under the bar made sense as it was it went straight out of play. Everyone fit he is probably 3rd or 4th choice on set pieces after Chair, Anderson and Dembele

I saw it a bit different than you bosh67 I thought Paal was poor and got caught in posession multiple times leading to Norwich attacks .Plus his sh*t corner going wide always bugs me as very selfish .He did manage that superb deliver for Koli to head home so that made up for it I suppose .

It was his corner that led to Jimmy’s goal. Did some bad ones as well mind. Clearly improving though and adjusting to the physical side of the Championship.

He also got crushed in a tackle which did not even draw a yellow card from that useless ref and I wont mention the straight red that should have been shown for the arm to the face on Morgan .We got 5 yellow they only got 2 that is beyond belief to my eyes . Jimmy Dunne scored from Madsens excellent corner so I would agree he was good today and improving every game
Madsen today on 02:41 - Dec 8 with 1646 views | VancouverHoop | He's slower than a wet week in Widnes, but I reckon Madsen can put the ball on a sixpence from anywhere on the pitch. That, alone, is a skill worth a place in the team.
Madsen today on 10:10 - Dec 8 with 1254 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | At the moment I just don't see anything in him that makes me think he would be starting games if we had a fully fit squad. If Dembele was fit he'd be in at 10. Who would have Madsen over 18yo Morgan in Central midfield? Not many I bet. He is getting praise for making a couple of tackles and pressing. He isn't going to control a game or dominate midfield, he just kind of floats around not really influencing it. I really want him to succeed, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he needs to being loads more. Dave Mc at WLS in a podcast a few weeks back said that loads of clubs looked at Madsen, but all passed due to being 'to slow and weak for the Championship '. I wonder what stat that is shown as in the QPR database?
Madsen today on 11:28 - Dec 8 with 1088 views | Hoopstar | In his ITV interview Jimmy mentioned that a player sat in house house for four hours this week while a plumbing issue was being sorted out - to help him as he couldn't be there with his personal difficulties. Mentioned it was Nicolas that did that so presuming he meant Madsen - which is at least a sign he's a good bloke. Be interesting if we wound up playing Kolli up top, with Chair, Dembele and Saito behind him at some point this year. Would surely be the shortest ever frontline if it did come about.
