If this happened, you are absolutely correct.

Swansea City put forward a project plan to play in the Welsh cup (part 2) on 21:53 - Nov 25 by swancity | It was never a problem previously. With bigger squads these days and squad rotation a thing now it wouldn’t be a problem now. Some clubs would give it a higher priority than others which is their prerogative. |
It was the reason the Premier League was reduced to 20 teams.

Swansea City put forward a project plan to play in the Welsh cup (part 2) on 21:44 - Nov 25 by swancity | It would be good to see a Welsh FA Cup to include Swansea Cardiff Newport Wrexham Merthyr with European qualification as the prize. It has to on the strict understanding and agreement going forward that our EFL status is not affected nor our place in the English F a Cup and league cup. |
So you want the penny and the bun. That will go down well with other EFL clubs who won’t stay quiet due to the revenue from European competition. Any assurances now would soon melt away when the others start applying pressure. This really needs to be thought out and quashed immediately!

Both need to be binned including the women's s team. Swansea will end up playing kids in the League cup which is the only major trophy the club has one. Even now Williams was playing the stiffs. Even Njoe an On got a kick. |
Forgive me if I’m wrong (I’m not but just being polite) but Team GB will be of no threat to Swansea City’s status as an EFL club in any way, shape or form. Personally, I think it’s a great idea but I’m not a Wales supporter. But we don’t want to go off thread do we?

How can a nominated Club governed under our rules and regulation then go off and compete in their own internal matches . All you Welsh Clubs want to play as your own breakaway in a Competion not sanctioned or rcognised by The Football Leauge , carry on , but not a good look for other teams aiming for their goals , hey the Welsh teams have had a freebie into Europe via a back door . Bin the idea , stay under FA Rules as they are , or we need to be Independent like the SFA .

Swansea City put forward a project plan to play in the Welsh cup (part 2) on 23:24 - Oct 6 by ReslovenSwan1 | The club is 10% owned by the Trust who in business terms have the same business acumen as the Llangyfelach Women's institute. I sense you are of the same clueless ilk. The US owners are as good as it gets for Swansea city. Debts covered investment through the door , stability. The problem is the football people at the club who need to do a better job. Watson and Coleman have hits and misses. Williams needs to stop buttering up veterans and release the youngsters. Some promising signs with Franco, Eom, Vigoroux and Ronald. It is down to Williams to get a song from them and Vipotnik and Buianchini and young guns Abdullai, Parker, Govea, Wilson and Cotterill. Your language of destruction is quick fix loser nonsense. Flash a leg at a passing Arab prince is for people with no soul. I do not do the lottery and pray to god for a bit of luck. I invest study and grow things with love and care. The future of Swansea city rests with its football people and the academy. There is some real talent to be developed. Next level relates to investment. £23m through the door. Relegation was down to Swnsea based football people and poor recruitment. There is no free lunch unless you are West Ham. This is wales and we have to fight. |
90% over rules 10% or is math not your strongest subject, no shame in that .

They will be quite happy. Swansea or other clubs have other distractions from the league hella then out. I do not think Eufa will approve it. They dragged the FAW to form a league while the " exiles" objected to join. Bangor Rhyl Colwyn Bay, Barry Merthyr etc. Losing qualification for Europe in the English system means not a lot.

It is British exceptionalism. UK footballers are the only ,players in the world that can represent two countries and two separate flags at the same time. One can imagine perhaps the Russian federation along with some African allies demanding to end this privilege and demand action to give an either or option but not both. Welsh teams play in English leagues as a historical to legacy.. It is an anomaly. The Coleman plan is Welsh exceptionalism where Welsh teams can play in cup tournament s within two different leagues. Most fans like things as they are with engrained anomalies. The last thing Swansea city and Wales need is the authorities looking at these anomalies and make attempts by democratic processes to unify the national teams and or force Welsh team into Welsh leagues . The national teams of UK is an anomaly and a privilege as it Swansea playing in the English leagues. Team GB is a logical solution and fits the UN definition of a country. Sadly it already exists. We do not want FIFA to force a solution to these anomalies as we currently already have special privileges other countries might resent.. [Post edited 26 Nov 18:45]
