England QPR XI 20:28 - Jun 17 with 4810 views | Antti_Heinola | Wondering whether you can get a decent England XI of QPR players. Rule is they must’ve got England caps while playing for us. So far… Seaman Bardsley Parker Fenwick Thomas Francis (c) Venables (i think?) Sinton Ferdinand Bowles Missing a left back. Any ideas? Sansom not eligible.

England QPR XI on 00:19 - Jun 18 by lightwaterhoop | Just looked this up and it seems our first England player was Evelyn Lintott who won 3 caps in 1908 and was killed in WWI in the battle of the Somme. Is this true? i am a little surprised we have not heard this before. At least ive not. Yes, and by all passed-down accounts he was a brilliant footballer.

You are writing cheques I hope our midfield can cash. But we all now know what the 'b' in Daveb stands for: bold...and very bold at that!!

My team probably wouldn't win many games as there would be a lack of defenders, but look at the footballing ability they would offer! And I've had to leave out our best goalscorer - Clive Allen. Phil Parkes Dave Clement Paul Parker Terry Fenwick Ian Gillard Dave Thomas Gerry Francis Andy Sinton Rodney Marsh Les Ferdinand Stan Bowles

He was in the squad, yes. Should have got a cap for the season he'd just had.

England QPR XI on 23:53 - Jun 17 by Myke | Am I right in thinking David Webb was the only uncapped player in that '75/'76 Team? Incidentally, Don Givens was our top scorer that season with 13! There is hope for Dykes yet! |
Don Masson was uncapped at the start of the 75/76 season but he made his debut in the Home Internationals at the end of that season. He was pretty much a regular starter for Scotland after that right up to the infamous Peru match at the '78 World Cup which was his last cap. Dave Clement was also uncapped at the start of the season and made his debut against Wales in March 1976. [Post edited 18 Jun 10:03]

Killed on the first day. He been gone from us a while by then playing for Bradford then Leeds. Might be an idea for articles in matchday programme to feature a series on our Home Grown Internationals.
