Newport manager James Rowberry has gone from 21/1 to 3/1 to become the next QPR manager.

He’s currently sat 11th in league 2.

edit.Now into 2/1.

I knew nothing about Rowberry so I did some digging. It turns out he's worked with Warnock:

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Jääskeläinen wouldn’t be my choice of dream manager 😜. I’d go for Sepp Herberger and the way he got his West Germany Team to play to their strengths and tactically outwit a more talented Hungarian side to lift the 1954 World Cup, or Ottmar Hitzfeld, the mastermind behind the success of Borussia Dortmund in the 90s and subsequent Bayern München sides.

How is Sherwood even in these lists?

He's done 2 managerial jobs that I can think of and Tottenham was only a temporary job, and Villa was 2015.

Cant someone explain is he interested or is it bookies nonsense hoping people will simply put money on him knowing it's free money for them?

Liam Manning now 3/1 favourite.
Wouldn't mind if he brings Scott Twine with him.

Good appointment if so, I also like Wildthing.
As Gareth knows both divisions and knows the gems in the lower leagues.

The only person linking Jussi Jääskeläinen to the job is a Twitter account with 5 tweets and a profile photo that reverse image searches to a generic stock photo. Do not be fooled, block the account and move on

See above, he doesn't exist. Its either a kid on the wind up or an adult who needs serious intervention

It could well be. He claims to be a freelance journalist who was previously at The Sun. I was just sharing some stuff I stumbled across but now regret that. Goodnight

If not Eustace then Liam Manning seems to be a good option and has the style of play we want and development skills. However, why would he leave MK Dons if they come up?

Never knowingly right.

Same 2 reasons they all do IMHO.

One - Ego, flattered than someone thinks they can do a good job at a "better", "bigger" club and of course MONEY!

Agree with that, Manning fits the profile in terms of style of play and focus on youth, one season challenging for play offs does not change the long term need to develop and sell on etc.

MK Dons will lose their better players regardless.

The one problem is these playoffs in an ideal world they go out early.

I think Farke will go to either a relegated team or one that still has parachute money

Dyche will go to whichever premiership team gets in trouble in the first 2 month.

I think we will end up with either Eustace, Manning or Robinson

Ainsworth will be ruled out because his style of football does not suit the direction the club want to go in. Of course someone could come in left field, I would not rule out Rooney for example being in the mix

I looked up Liam Manning on Wikipedia. His playing career included stints at Selfoss, Melton St Audrey, & Ipswich Wanderers. Weren’t they all in the same league as Melchester Rovers?
