As we continue to push for unimpeded access to visit the prisoners of war (PoWs) that are/were held in Olenivka, we want to address the outpouring of questions we’ve been getting about our role in relation to PoWs. 🧵 ⬇️
Nothing in my logic ever mentions we should not have gone to the Falkans. It was an uninhabited group of Island, never lived on by any native people of South America, never occupied as a Spanish colony, so when the Colonist from Argentina decided they wanted independence from Spain the New Argentina had no historical or colonial ties with the Falkland Islands and no territorial claims either. This fact has been confirmed by the United Nations many times.
So when Argentina invaded the independent and democratic Falklands Islands the UK had every moral and legal right to use force to eject them which they did with almost no civilians casualties and Argentina POW were treated well by the UK and far better than the Argentinian Generals. The were repatriated to Argentina quickly and without any mistreatment.
The Falkland Islands voted by 99.9% to remain a UK crown dependency in a democratic ballot.
The Russians have of course tried to denying the Ukrainians this basic , human and democratic choice.
So yet again you try to deflect blame from Russian for illegally invading a sovereign nations, committing war crimes , torturing and killing POW and putting them I POW camps in a war zone all in breach of the Geneva Convention which Russia is still a signatory to.
Well Put. I see now Corbyn having the honesty to say its basically the fault of the WEST for arming Ukraine.Frankly,a part of me would want them armed further and Russia blown away from the map.The world would be a far happier place.
1. That is still an official Red Cross account and they do not do propaganda.
2. Your Aljazeera article just states a Russian claim, they themselves do not claim this is anything. Just like Russia claimed they weren't going to invade, just like Russia claimed that they would be welcomed by UKranians, just like Russia claimed so many other things that have easily been proven false.
Oh, a bonus point. You've not refuted any of the tweet which demonstrates that it WAS NOT a HIMARS attack and why it was a Russian one...

Of course it's a claim, everything is.
It was a Ukranian fired Himas as Russia doesn't have them.I explained earlier how it was a Himas, did you miss that bit.

Russia doesn’t have HIMARS, but they’ve got plenty of debris they could have collected from other sites deposited at the camp to discredit Ukraine. Open your eyes to what’s going on. If the Russians had nothing to hide why deny the IRC access?

You are grasping at straws. The Ukraine could do that too, they have the HIMARS not Russia.Stop listening to Zelensky and his Neo Nazi cronies, they are the experts at propaganda

Wake up and smell the coffee. All we’ve had from Russia is a stream of lies and BS.
Why haven’t the Russians allowed access to the UN and IRC? I’m pretty sure the Russians would love to get one up on the Ukrainians by getting an independent body to prove the latter killed their own troops, but no, that's seemingly not the case. Anyone with half a brain would wonder why Russia would pass up an opportunity to turn world public opinion against the Ukraine. Maybe the reason is because it was the Russian’s or their associates the Wagner Group who we’re responsible.

The propaganda is coming from the Ukraine. Zelensky, is an actor and manipulator, and he's very good at it .
The Red cross is in the Donbass. I don't know about the UN or what process they have to go through to get there.I wouldn't trust them anyway as they are in the pay of the US.
Once again, for the benefit of the simpletons. Russia does not use HIMAR missiles only the Ukraine does, There has been debris and equipment at the scene that could only come from HIMARS. These missiles are very precise, but can only hit small specific targets. The missiles Russia uses are accurate, but not as precise as these, therefore there would be more collateral damage, in this case there wasn't.
BTW, forget all the hype about HIMARS,. they are useful to the Ukraine, but in no way are they the silver bullet or game changer

Yes, they pay the vast majority of it and it's HQ is in NY. The United States remains the largest donor to the United Nations. In 2020, it contributed more than $11 billion, which accounted for just under one-fifth of funding for the body’s collective budget.

Never mind Russian and Chinese friends can still veto and UN resolutions. About time they were both kicked out if they refuse to obey international laws, respecr sovereign states, and continue to commit genocide against ethnic minorities.
More bad news for the Russians as a supply train of 40 railway carriages explodes. It was on its way from Crimea to reinforce the besieged city Khersom. Meanwhile in the donbass the nuclear power station captured by the Russians is danger of explosion. Tye Russians have refused the United Nation's nuclear agency to inspect it and carry out vital repairs.

The UN weapons inspectors said there were no WMD in Iraq, yet that was ignored and hundreds of thousands lost their lives and millions were displaced. Guess who did that, The US and it's lapdogs. Now that was genocide!
