Well 14th out of 24 is very mid table makes us the 11th lowest not lowest. It is the same as Cardiffs attendance in 2015/16 and 2016/17 the 2nd and 3rd season after Cardiff's first relegation from the PL.

It's not a pond, it's a puddle, and they are not a bigger fish, just a fish with a bigger head and brain damage.

That is the average away attendance but does reflect the fact we take more to away games than Cardiff and the home fans consider Swansea to be a more attractive opposition than Cardiff

Biggest fish, I don’t think so. Their supporters base is no different or bigger than ours, we are just more level headed when it comes to cock waving. [Post edited 5 Feb 2020 18:55]

Your right Jamie, we do have a few, always have. Despite very heavy policing, hundreds banned most seasons, bubbles, voucher only or even plain bans we’ve always travelled in big numbers, generally double your away support. When we first made it to the championship in 2003/04 we’d take 3 or 4000 all over. It’s what we’ve always been about though, with the city and obv with a Wales allover Europe.

Cardiff's crowds haven't been too bad this season***. But ours were similar in our first season back. Their crowds are going to go back down again. Especially given the style of 'football' the play. EDIT - Cardiff's league crowds*** [Post edited 6 Feb 2020 7:43]

The turnout was as expected on Tuesday night, so glad I didn't go. Crowds are decent this season, away numbers are excellent, despite what a few people have said on this thread. If things stay the same, I fear both our Clubs are going to lose a few thousand fans next season. I know quite a lot who are thinking of not renewing their season tickets at CCFC. That's the South Wales public for you.

From what I remember, the stats given further up the thread are for the home clubs crowds when we've both played them, nothing to do with how many away fans actually attended. Our Cup home crowds are rubbish, but home League turnouts are decent, will drop by a fair bit next season though.

Its not only the South Wales public Hull Reading QPR Boro Stoke Even Derby Sheff Weds All had full houses week in week out in the PL. PL fans are the ones who leave in droves. Any Bassey with half a brain cell (so we can count Benny out) knows your attendance will be back to around 17k next season when those who renewed just hoping to see Man Utd Liverpool etc disappear. Yeah, all over England and Wales tbf. They tend to hang around for the first season back in the Championship, then if no promotion they disappear back to Sky tv/Firestick/Pub.

Attendances Will go do next year. A lot of Cardiff fans bought season tickets last year when they were In PL I doubt a lot of them will not renew this season. Judging be the thousands of empty seats at Lego land this season a lot of them have stopped going already.

Correct the attendances are for Cardiff and Swansea away games. If we are playing the same teams and swansea games attract 300 more than cardiff games fair to assume Swansea take 300 more away than Cardiff despite all our journeys being 40 miles further than Cardiff.

Cardiff do some very cheap season tickets though. Lots would buy and only attend half the games. Yet they would be counted in each game.

The type of supporter we could both do without. I can’t stand them. I would rather go to Baku this summer in my Nissan bluebird with pencoed than a glory hunter, and that’s saying something! The rd trip of dreams penc, just me and you and a long dusty road.
