You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

According to my Sheff Utd mate, Wilder likes a "lad". He told me the story about Wilder telling Billy Sharpe to get off the coach and get a slab of cans on the coach trip home after Utd lost away from home when they went bottom of league 1. They went up that season.

Its just a ride.

Fine to have a drink if he's not got a game for a few days but why drive FFS. I think he can afford a cab! He'll be using taxis a lot more soon.

We shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush you know!

What a moron. After all that’s happened at Derby he still thinks it’s ok to go and drive under the influence? We’re well rid of him. Another case of a spoilt , brainless overpaid footballer thinking he’s above the law unlike everyone else.

All that happened at derby was that they got a slap on the wrist and can continue their lucrative careers consequence free.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

That’s all very well but hasn’t got anything to do with his player drink driving ...

You wonder if some of these players want the name of being a nutter/header.

I like the guy, but I've got no sympathy on this occasion. These footballers are on wages a normal person can only dream about, but he chooses to put his and other people's lives at risk instead of taking a cab. Even if it cost him one or two hundred quid to get home, chicken feed for him.

That is something I can never understand. McBurnie will be on good money but there are players on £200,000 pw being found drink driving. In their shoes I'd have a chauffeur.

Probably one or two on this thread have also "chanced their arm" once or twice.

Who knows.

Hope he gets a lengthy ban and gets pointed in the right direction

How was he able to play last night? I get it was for bugger all time, but where's the punishment? He'll never learn otherwise.

As likeable as he was on match days, we should be laughing after getting 18 million for him.
