1: It was an improvement on Monday. By some distance and against a better team.
2: Better team selection. Henry in the only position he can play. Chery and a Polter from the start.
3: Chery showed glimpses. He is a technical player and needs a run in theteam to be more effective.
4: Phillips crossing: Excellent
5: Mackie getting on the pitch after a long lay off.
6: Polters goal: 2 in 2 for the big fella.
7: The legend that is Diakite sighted on the bench.
8. Toscser didnt get a touch. A bit like Monday.
9. Nobody injured.
10. I'm running out of steam here. Anyone help me out?

The commentators on the official commentary mentioned that it looked as if JFH was getting the team to play as a unit.......... it's too early to tell I suppose, but how we shall all breathe a sigh of relief once we can see a difference in results.

We've learn't 2 valuable lessons,Nedum is an awful right back and Green is a massive liability.
Lets hope these issues are sorted for the next game.

Agreed and when Angella plays we concede 2 a game (not that he was really at fault for the goals today)

Green had one thing to do tonight. And he made a bolx of it. Costing us goals almost every game now. Kicking still embarrassingly erratic.

Smithies cannot be any worse. Time he got a start.

Regarding the second goal, Green said he called for the ball. If that's the case then it's pretty unfortunate that Hall didn't hear him.

Main positive for me was that Polter kept trying to hassle people and scored his second goal in 2 starts.

Even if he shouted, it was clearly too late for Hall to do anything, and completely the wrong decision to start with.

Very slow to move for their first goal, not for the first time in the match.. There were 2 early shots from Hull that went wide with Green scrabbling across his line far too late.
Their winner was a complete farce with both Green and Hall culpable.

Problem with Green is that he rarely comes off his line so when he does defenders don't expect it, even if he calls. I'm not sure Smithies is the answer either - would love us to bring in a tall, confident keeper who commands his box better and is quicker to get us moving when he has the ball. Bentley?
