After Vorm and Davies by all accounts. Really don't want to lose any players.
Tough summer ahead, sorting manager out first, the sooner the better for me. If its going to be Monk, give him a contract and lets get some stability. The longer it drags on, the more clubs will try and poach players.

Replacing a home grown left back who meets the under 21 criteria and who is not only starting but excelling in the Premier League is not easy to replace at all. We can't keep going after foreigners as we need a certain number of homegrown players not only from the U.K but from the club itself.
And who do you suppose we replace Vorm with? I began critisicing Gerry along time ago but few could see my point. As usual, it took a sustained run of poor games for everyone else to catch on. Vorm is key to us, whether it is obvious to see or not. Our whole defence (Amat aside) seem to have a good understanding with him and are a lot more relaxed when he is behind them.
Off topic slightly but in reply to a point raised in your post.
I would not dispute Vorm is an excellent keeper but from the CP replay (assuming you refer to our last game) Amat has that ball covered. So given Vorm came right out for it I am not sure what else Amat could have done. So I cannot understand blaming Amat for misreading Vorm in that.

He should have put it into the top tier the second the ball bounced between him and his keeper.

Too me Davies is abit overrated. His strenghs is his fantastic work ethic, great speed, he is strong. Fantastic will to learn!.
But
His defensive skill is average (think taylor is better). He is not very creative. He do not have the technic to go past a man. He passes in the air are average.
If you have to compare him to another player, same position, same age, same height, same speed it could be Nicolai Boilesen playing for Ajax. He fits the Swansea style far better. But in the offensive Boilsen is more intelligent, better technic.
Sadly Boilesens legs are made of glass so he would not be interesting for a club like Swansea.
(start after 45 sec)
