Should Laudrup stay or go imediately? on 22:45 - Feb 1 by tomdickharry | The board have wanted him out since before Christmas, don't want to pay a large sum in compensation and were/are hoping another club will call and take him,a la Sousa. This looks out of the question now for obvious reasons so looks as though we are either stuck with him for the duration of his contract or he walks the day after we are relegated.A lovely job as a SkySpain pundit awaits him in Brazil during the World Cup. |
What happens if we win every game until the end of the season and finish 7th?

Should Laudrup stay or go imediately? on 09:27 - Feb 2 with 388 views | Dibaba | Laudrup has a lot to learn as a manager, especially one for the Premier League, but so does everyone else that would probably come in at a team like Swansea. Are we going to let him learn while he's here and help him grow with us, especially as he's shown so much promise, or are we going to make him the fall guy during an injury riddled season in which most of our star performers last year are not playing near their potential? I thought a 3-0 win at the Mestalla and a win at Old Trafford along with qualification for the Europa League knockout rounds would be enough to show that he's a quality manager. Even the likes of Mourinho would have had difficulty at Swansea this season. It's interesting to see how so many posters on these boards last year were gloating about having a better manager than Liverpool, but now that Liverpool is getting results, I don't see the same kinds of comments. Results are not the only indicator of a manager's competence.
