I started off in my normal position in the middle of the loft but as each goal went in I was pushed to the side.I ended up by the corner flag on South Africa road.Happy days.
There were a few Mackems that weren’t happy with the refs performance moaning on the bbc page.According to some of their most blinkered fans we’re a dirty team that resorted to cheap fouls to stop them playing football. And some said that the red card was only worth a yellow at most.
I just watched the game again and the Coventry player was down for 2 minutes including the subs coming on,and Nardi was down for over 2 minutes,so how the f uck does he only add on 4 minutes? Nothing for the other subs or the goal.I doubt we would’ve scored again, but it would be nice to have the chance. Possibly Nardi being injured on 88 mins confused him a bit as the Sky were saying that 4 minutes was to be added on but maybe that was before the injury?
RIP to Geoff and condolences to his family and friends. His name was always mentioned in my family because any time we got asked to lift anything heavy we’d always say “Who do you think I am,Geoff Capes?”
I’d forgotten what a lunatic Keith Moon was,but what a fantastic drummer. Look at the difference in the drum kits from Little Richard’s drummer to Keith’s mega kit.
What a great uplifting thread this is.Long may it continue.
My own personal favourite is The Last Time by the stones.A song you can’t play loud enough in my opinion. Or the extended version of Won’t Get Fooled Again by The Who if it’s allowed.
I received a text message after yesterday’s game that my brother-in-law lost his long battle against cancer some time during the afternoon. He has been having chemotherapy and other treatment for over 3 years. It certainly made yesterday’s result seem a lot less important than it felt at the final whistle.
Good luck to everyone fighting this horrible disease and their families who also suffer the consequences of cancer.
I can’t see why games are moved to a Sunday unless they’re being shown live on tv,or there is a fixture clash with another local team.Another nail in the coffin for our greatest cup competition.
There was a family that used to sit of me in NL that were called Death,or maybe De ath?I haven’t seen him around for a year or two,or his two sons. I p issed him off so much that he probably sits in y block just to keep away from me.He came from the Millwall area.
