| Forum Thread | After today all over bar the shouting, but 10 reasons to be cheerful. at 17:19 9 Nov 2024
1. Relegation all but assured, so we can now prepare early for The Championship next August. 2. Championship ticket prices won’t go up and may well come down. 3. More games to watch in The Championship. 4. No V A R in The Championship. 5. Sports Republic don’t need to waste any more money in the January window because we already have a Championship team. 6. Sports Republic can sell our few decent players to help balance the books. 7. Sports Republic can look forward to their second set of parachute payments in just three seasons. 8. In The Championship we may well win more than the odd one game in eleven.. 9. Fair chance of a couple of local derbies. 10. I can’t think of anything else. An all round win situation for both us fans and Sports Republic, what’s not to like ? [Post edited 9 Nov 18:36]

| Forum Thread | Wolves today. And so it goes on. First it was Man Utd now it’s City. at 17:24 20 Oct 2024
Another day another dollar and once more a referee who favours the big money teams. I’ve an intense illogical dislike for Wolves but even after reviewing V A R how did Man City’s winning goal stand ? If it’s not offside it’s physical interference with their keeper. On the other hand was the decision worse than the many given by the total excuse for a referee who officiated our game yesterday ? These people referee as a profession so how even with the aid of V A R can they be so totally and regularly inept and still remain in their job ? Perhaps it’s like any other profession. Simply money talking ? [Post edited 20 Oct 17:31]

| Forum Thread | Has our defence got weaker or is Ramsdale just not that good? at 17:39 5 Oct 2024
Mccarthy, two goals conceded in two Premiership games this season.Average 1.0 per game. Ramsdale, thirteen goals conceded in five Premiership games this season.Average 2.6 per game. Another £ 18 million well spent by our clueless Recruitment Team ? Because at his current rate Ramsdale will easily add to his record of twice previously being the keeper in a team relegated from The Premiership. |
