A workmanlike win against a decent but markedly inferior opposition. No discernible difference from the last manager. Another game or two like this and all Southgate's detractors will be saying all the same stuff about Tuchel. Plus ca change etc. |

That's a pretty good rant. Pithy, targeted and succinct. 8/10 |

They'd need to be good ones, because a lottery win isn't nearly enough to run a Championship club these days. |

Indeed. He's not going to resign unless the situation become intolerable. He might get poached, but I'll say this once again: who's looking at the Championship table and thinking we need to get that guy who's stormed his team to 15th? |

Almost certainly he was driving like an idiot in unfavourable conditions in a car he's admitted he didn't know how to drive and reality duly dealt him a harsh lesson. |

I don't disagree either! Let's not let the semantics of strikers/forwards/attackers obscure the point - although Mehmeti and Twine are both classified as forwards by their club. If you do want to compare Mehmeti to Chair, he's their highest scoring player with 12 goals this season. Chair's best total for a season is 9. City are going to have a problem in the summer though as Wells surely can't be good for another full season as a starter and Armstrong isn't the answer. |

In that particular parallel universe Tony Scully and George Kulscar both went on to have stellar top flight careers following their heroics against Palace. |

Take a look at Bristol City's lineup for their defeat of Norwich on Saturday. Wells and Mehmeti starting upfront with Twine replacing Mehmeti and Armstrong replacing Wells. I'll pass commenting on Armstrong, but if the other three were at QPR we'd be flogging them to death. We are way behind the upper mid table sides with our forward options. |

Perhaps he was taking a breather. He is 35. And that's not flippant. Running around a football pitch for 90 mins is hard enough work for someone ten years younger. All but the most athletic of players have to take a breather at some point in the game, but mostly we don't notice because we're watching the action. |

Given the current situation, good job we got those loans in we apparently didn't need. |

Those are league goals, of which Celar has a hatful. If it wasn't obvious, the point was that Celar's international career is no indication of quality. |

The last one seems quite plausible. |

I hope you're right, but Celar has never scored a senior goal for Slovenia, the population of which is slightly less than Kelman's birthplace of Essex, and Suffolk - Kelman might well get a squad place in a notional Essex and Suffolk side. |
