Leave it as it is but bring in a part time consultant on a temporary basis to help with recruitment in the January window. We need a couple more experienced, 'Championship suitable', players as well as a young pacey striker. Mark Robins would be a potential target for this role. This season has proved we need a bigger squad to cover for injuries and allow better rotation in three game weeks. The budget will be a problem but Noury needs to find his creative side again. |

I was particularly concerned when I saw we were playing four right footed defenders. However, the two on the left side, Morrison and Ashby, were better than Cook and Dunne on the right. |

Maybe but were you pleased with his contribution when here? |

Brilliant strikes from probably his only two touches in the game. Or did he take the kick offs? He did score a couple of good ones for us too but ....... |

Thank you. It was my usual route. I guess I'll come off at the Hogarth roundabout or go down to the Broadway depending on the directions of Waze. As for the residents, it was like that when they moved In. It maybe more to do with the changes on King Street which makes getting out the end more difficult and hazardous. You have to cross a two way cycle path whilst pulling into the road. [Post edited 21 Nov 14:11]

Great memories from those days as 16 yr old. I was at the home and away cup matches and away in the league, the George Best farewell (for a while). Not mentioned so far the 8-2 in the league cup v Sheffield Wednesday. We were doing very well and were, for the first time, the highest placed London Team. I remember the club flying a flag, 'London's Top Team'. Seems to remember an early kick off on Boxing Day away at Spurs 0-0. |

Stupid booking though. Surely he knows by now that he is not allowed to talk to the official, as he is not the skipper. That would have ruled him out of a play off match. Now that we don't have that hurdle does the 'suspension' get quashed? |

Fair enough. Johanson is four years younger and a Swedish international. However he cost a reported £1 million and I suspect he is on a much higher wage. Not sure he plays much with his feet. Think he might be at a higher level if he did. |

If you're trying to tell us Burgervic was better than Nardi then.......mmm! It was our defending that got us the clean sheets last season. It's a bit like when we won through the playoffs. It was in spite of Redknapp not because of him. Yes Nardi seems a bit quiet. Coming for crosses isn't his strength and he mainly lets the defenders deal with them. There have been signs of improvement in this area recently but on the whole, I would rather he stayed at home than come, miss and leave the goal empty. There are some big bastards in this league and its very difficult for keepers to come and claim crosses. There are many keepers getting 'done' in this way and I don't think Begovic was much better at this aspect. If as you say Nardi is Marti's choice, it's because he is so much better with his feet. As for Steve Cook, for all his experience and very good defensive play, his passing has been very inconsistent and costing us possession and his instant on field reaction to blame everyone but himself, isn't good for morale and contrasts with his view in post match interviews where he adopts a more conciliatory tone. Maybe but what about all the mistakes that cost us points and almost sent us down? |

Sad news. They were both excellent actors. She was brilliant as Basil's wife in Fawlty Towers and I loved his portrayal of Edward VII in the ITV series of the 70s. Would love to see that again. |

Agree it's way to early to judge. I didn't see much to admire until his appearance of the bench in the Burnley game. I thought he did a good job that day and played a part in preserving the point. |

I don't pretend to know what Noury is responsible for or Marti or even Belk. What I do know is that, at least in the short term, we are in are in a lot of trouble and that Mark Robbins has a lot of football league experience and has been active in this league for the last few years. We should be sounding him out about a short term consultant role to assist and advise the club on recruitment for the next window. We need a couple more experienced football league pros to come into the team in January, if we are to have any chance of staying up. |

There was a point last season, I think, where we had only won one home game in about a year. It was against Watford and I was away and watched on a stream. I will be away for Stoke and will watch on a stream. 🤞😬🤞 |

Think the praise is a bit ott. Having given the keeper a yellow on 70 odd minutes, he then did nothing to stop him pissin about for the next twenty five. Smyth, rightly or wrongly, got free kicks that he wouldn't usually get. There were a few inconsistencies in that what was a foul one minute, wasn't the next. I would go no higher than a six. |
