I have just read every one of these informed, informing, intelligent, potent, accurate, illuminating, loyal and emotional words and sit here now with tears in my eyes! I'm never going to delete my recording of the match and I'm going to print this report out and keep it with my ticket for the Final, my flag, and my programme.
I am in my sixties - have supported the Rs since I was 16, have two sons in their 40s who were brought up as Rs, along with a huge network of their uncles and cousins. If there are friends and family who don't understand what 24 May meant and indeed are mystified by our allegiance to the Hoops (inevitably influenced by so much negative press) - they need to read this!
