If the alarm bells in our ears wasn't already ringing loud enough they should have been at the top of the decimal meter when he wanted to jump ship.. Whether we think he was good/bad for the side he was Mr. Swansea City.. right down to his wife being head of the new player brigade helping them all settle in to the area after signing.. Yes he was offered more money but I don't buy it was just down to money.. Something behind the scenes is drastically wrong with this club at the moment.. I would hazard a guess that team morale is shot to pieces and it wouldn't surprise me if we have another tonking Sunday.. Something has to change.. Starting with the manager
Whether he'll play or not we should have called Yates back here.. Derby are now a relegation rival no doubt about it.. last thing we need are any goals scored by him helping them out and hurting us.. He should have been called back if we had that clause in the loan
Unless we get a manager in that can improve the players we got quickly.. We're so out of nik and devoid of confidence that I can't see how we can be sure we're gonna stay up.. We've got a tidy buffer of points at the moment but you can be guaranteed one or possibly 2 down the bottom will put 2 or 3 wins together and we could be in real trouble.. Luke Williams isn't the man.. Arguably all the players have regressed under him, possibly because they don't believe in him, his tactics, his training methods or whatever but whatever it is it shows in the recent performances.. LW has to go IMO now to give us the best chance not to get dragged right in it.
All winnable.. And we probably should win them all but it's the championship so it'll be tough.. These next 4 games will really show how us how good we are and how good/decent this squad is.. If we could win them all then that would put is in a cracking position just outside or even in the play offs to attract a few decent players in January.. Then it's over to the new owners.. will they gamble?? Time will tell
One way or another this needs to be sorted with Ben and Harry.. A few mistakes have started to creep in last few weeks and we now look unlikely to keep a clean sheet.. It may not be down to uncertainty over their futures but it can't help..
Ronald's form...
Worrying! He's totally out of nic.. even finding a 5 yard pass to much for him at the moment.. looks marginally better on the left but he needs to get some confidence back and get at the full backs.. plus cross the ball into the box!! Infuriating sometimes when he won't then loses the ball...
MPH...
I don't want to constantly dig him out because I sound like a broken record but for me he's just not good enough... I don't see one positive if him being in the team...
Our chances...
Falling to the wrong people... Apparently Vipotnik is the best finisher at the club yet we create him hardly anything whilst he's on the pitch yet when he goes off Bianchini and Eom find glorious chances that I'm sure VP would have taken one of them.. especially Eoms header yesterday.. Only solution I can see is to try starting Bianchini and bring VP on last half hour and try get him the chances second half...
I really don't think we're far off being a very very decent side at this level.. but we've got to stop shooting ourselves in the foot and giving teams head starts in matches through our mistakes.. we look like scoring every match so if we can stop the mistakes starting Tuesday we can still have a decent season
Again another match chalked off we should have won.. More possession, more chances, Bianchini and Eom have to score second half and well the least said about their goal the better.. A definite season of what ifs this is gonna be
Just goes to show what can be achieved when you get the delivery of the corner spot on every time.. not a short corner in site! They look like scoring every corner they take.. If only we could follow suit
Absolutely fantastic going forward.. goes past players like their not there sometimes but for all that his bread and butter defending is costing us a lot lately.. The only question is does the good outweigh the bad? Time will tell I suppose
Been outstanding last few games, high energy, tenacious in the tackle, don't stop running to be fair to him.. Quickly becoming one of the first names on the team sheet.. I was impressed with him out in Montenegro too after a wobbly start in terrible conditions.. Always tastes sweeter when it's one of our own.. Keep it up lad
Excellent stuff.. unbelievably thorough in the detail.. No wonder Rushworth won POY.. Any budding goalkeeper should bite our hand off to come work with him
