My mate said "f*ck this I'm gonna go to the off-licence and get a beer, I will meet you at the car" got up and walked out. That was when we beat Liverpool in the last 10 minutes. [Post edited 11 Nov 19:44]

This thread is killing me. Due to cancer and having a massive part of my bowel removed I've just been told by my surgeon I can no longer eat food.......ever again. And I've just bought a bloody pizza oven ffs To say I am a foodie is an understatement and there are numerous things I could add to the list of delights but it's good to see such a wide array of food being devoured by you lot 😀 |

Ironically I've just checked the £1 free bet I did on sky bet earlier and it's won me £16 Real Madrid to beat Betis Mbappe to score Vinicius to be carded Mbappe to have 2 shots on target Vinicius to win 2 fouls Totally forgot about it until I saw this thread It's a small victory but it was free so it's happy days. QPR have lost me big money in the past so I don't usually include us in my bets unless it's a dead cert...... which it never is 🤣 [Post edited 2 Sep 1:50]

That day ranks up there with the best of QPR days. Good laugh on the way up bumping into plenty of Rs fans in the motorway services followed by one of the loudest away supports I've ever witnessed. The palace irrupted when we scored the first and went even more mental when Furz slotted home the 2nd. Bobby scoring at Wembley will always be up there as an instant moment in time but for me the season under Ollie getting out of the 3rd tier was one of the best |

Can 8 actually afford to go leccy? Currently have a 15 plate Mazda 3 2.2 diesel which returns 58mpg on average can get into the 60s. I can't afford to go out and buy a new car as I would probably only get 4 or 5 grand for mine so how do they expect people to afford them |

If we don't replace Dykes we may not score enough goals to stay up because his return on our investment is bloody atrocious. #couldnthitacowsarsewithabanjo 🤦 |

Friends still gets put on pretty much every day in our house and it still makes us piss ourselves laughing. Superbly written and fantastically acted by all the cast. Never wanted it to end but never wanted them to go back and have it not live up to expectations like the reboot of Frasier is at the moment. Thank you Matthew for your part in my past! Could I "BE" any more greatful 😢 |

As a big boy motorbike rider I wasn't expecting much when i had a go on my next door neighbor's Ebike. How wrong was i. Whilst having loads of actual gears it's also got 3 settings of power assistance. 30% 50% and 80% I was genuinely amazed how good it was, then he told me the price 5 grand 😲 I could buy a proper bike for that 😁 |

I drive a diesel 65 plate Mazda 3 and the wife had a petrol 60 plate Astra. We've had them for 8 years and yes we would both like a change but given the price of getting a decent EV or Hybrid and selling our current cars we simply can't afford to change even though we want to. How the hell are people supposed to afford this enforced change? |

| Forum Reply | Bust up between Ainsworth with Willock, Johansen and Laird at 12:09 21 Apr 2023
Why people rate Johansen absolutely baffles me. He's been utter garbage this season when he isn't injured from chipping a nail 💅 Laird won't be here next term so isn't willing to put his body on the line for us, you can tell that the way he sh*ts out of tackles. Willock still isn't over his hammy injury so also won't go the extra yard as he will be looking to get out at the first opportunity. So Gareth has every right to exclude them imho. It's going to be a battle over the next 3 games and he can't have troops who aren't willing to go the extra yard I suppose. |

Yeah true and I get that it may be an actual tactic for two up front but Senny has been doing it all season irrespective of how many we have up front. Drives me bloody mad when we need to hit teams on the break and he stands there bouncing the ball like he's in the NBA allowing the opponents to get back in position, [Post edited 19 Apr 2023 23:59]

Positives Lyndon scored Field was a work horse Drewe has a great long throw Lowe looked half decent at times We didn't loose Negatives Defence can't concentrate for an entire game Senny slows the play down CONSTANTLY. Salter is more fragile than a 90 year old woman. Chair is awful at taking corners or dead balls. Why do we crowd the keeper at corners when all it does is give an immediate free kick to the oppo (every bloody time) For 46 ish minutes I was pretty happy with things, then the old failings raised thier head and we were clinging on for dear life, Amos could have been a hero if he had picked a side instead of trying to scoop it over a 6ft5 keeper from the penalty spot but it wasn't to be. Add a motivated and fit Willock and we may be ok but it's going to be tough to watch. But I will........You Rs |
