| News Comment | Take nine, QPR hunt first win at Arsenal — full match preview at 00:19:48
Be interesting to see what Hughes does if Park isn't fit. I would put money on him putting SWP in for him on the right. If it was down to me, I would play... Cesar Bosingwa Mbia Nelson Traore Diakite Faurlin Hoilett Granero Taarabt Zamora |
| News Comment | A chance for QPR to show they’ve really changed — full match preview at 12:42:12
This is a test to see what were made of. Having seen Preston at Loftus Rd, i want to say it will be a comfortbale win. Everything is different this season, and all the traditions seem to be with us. If we play how we can it will be a comfortable win. Preston are going to come out fighting tomorrow, so it wont be easy! However, its a must win. |
| News Comment | Late Routledge winner gives Hoofroyd the blues - full match report at 21:34:36
Great report Clive. We were so dominant on the day, it would have been disastrous if we would have only come away with a point. I remember this game last year. We were flying, magilton stupidly decided to take Taarabt off, and that cost us the win. I'm still convinced now that, that was the turning point last season. A great win yesterday which had a bit of everything. Routledge and Taarabt linked up very well. Miller looked decent when he come on, and if he can get fully fit, it looks like he could slot in well. Tough trip to Hull next week, but a chance to go 8 points clear! How good would that sound. |
| News Comment | Wednesday Diary — Six players linked, announcements awaited at 20:38:12
Getting Routledge back would be a great replacement for Mackie. I'm not sure about Miller. He hasn't played regular football which is the type of players we need. Shittu would be great cover for the two centre half's. I'm not convinced about the McCarthy deal. It said on the official website that Helguson and Tofas scored, so not sure whether McCarthy even played? Just waiting to see the confirmation. |
| News Comment | Burnley hold QPR to bore draw in downpour — full match report at 12:29:10
Great report as usual Clive. Burnley is a hard place to go so to get a point, isn't a bad result. Good to see that Taarabt can play even though the weather was awful. It's also pleasing to see that PVM has settled in quickly. Hopefully Faurlin isn't too badly injured otherwise is could mean that Clarke will have to play. A good win against Coventry on Sunday will definately be a confidence boost for everyone. |
| News Comment | Taarabt delivers knockout after Boxing Day punch up — full match report at 10:32:34
Great report as usual. The difference a year makes is incredible. We have gone from the joke of the league, to being the league leaders, incredible. Most of the credit has to go to Warnock. Some great performances today, especially Helguson, Taarabt and Walker. I would love to know how Helguson can jump like he does. We have to do all we can to buy Walker in January. He will be one of the best signings in recent years, if we can keep hold of him. It's a bit of a bummer that the next game is on Sky, because we never play well on sky, and after a performance like that, it's not what we need. A very good result against a decent team. |
| News Comment | Cracks starting to appear? Leeds head pack after QPR’s second defeat — full match report at 10:42:02
2 disappointing loses in a row to be honest. The issue about Rowland's is a strange one. Warnock is saying that he needs game time, so if you need a centre midfielder why not give give 45 minutes. I just feel that come January, it could be the end for the fella. But we are still top with a game in hand! A good win against Swansea will do wonders for the team. |
| News Comment | QPR outclass Cardiff to pull five points clear — full match report at 12:29:43
Great report Clive. This had to be the best weekend of the season so far. Cardiff, Swansea and Derby all losing, it couldnt have gone any better. Warnock has got everyone working for each other. Hulse is getting better every game witch is very encouraging. it was a great performance, how we only conceded 1 goal, i dont know. If we could sign Walker in January, it has to be one of the best signings in the last 5 years. It will be a test if we can keep the performance up against a Hull side which will more than likely sit back and play for a point. |
| News Comment | Patched up QPR sweep aside Preston to regain top spot — full match report at 22:29:21
Great report Clive. I was worried about this game before, but my view certainly changed after about 10 minutes. Preston were one of the worst teams I have seen for a long time. With players missing, I was very happy with the win. Back to full strength bar Buzsaky next Saturday. Cant wait for the game, bring on the mugs! |
| News Comment | Night of refereeing howlers leaves unbeaten record intact - full match report at 19:18:52
It wasn't a great game to be honest. Overall a point was fair for both teams. They shouldn't have had their goal, and we shouldn't have had ours. All credit goes to Tommy Smith for stepping up for that penalty in the 90th minute, against his former team. Great to see Swansea losing, and Cardiff getting only a point. Can we break the record with a win Saturday? Lets hope so. |
| News Comment | Down to ten but back on top, QPR batter Reading — full match report at 12:22:33
It was a great team performance, and every individual played well. I really don't know what Mackie has for breakfast but it really works. For me it was the best performance of the season. The team spirit is excellant, every player playing for the team. Long may this outstanding run continue. bring on the Pompey tomorrow night! |
| News Comment | Top spot lost on frustrating afternoon — full match report at 20:21:51
I think a draw was a fair reflection in the end, however we should have taken one of those chances at the end. As for the ref, worst I have ever seen. Surely Smith has to start against Reading, just to freshen things up a bit. Heider has to come straight back in if he's fit. Still if someone told me we would be 2nd after 14 games, and be unbeaten I would have snapped there hand off! |
| News Comment | Rangers held by brave Lions at 21:01:16
Thought that on the night, we played well are were unlucky not too come away with the three points. Derry and Helguson missed 2 free headers inside of the box, which should of at least hit the target! We are missing Faurlin in the middle. Him and Derry just cut everything out, and let Taarabt do him magic. Just think that Buzsaky is more of a attacking player than Faurlin and tries to get forward, leaving Derry alone at some points. If we can get through the game on saturday still unbeaten and no injuries this will be a great achievement. Providing players dont get injured on internations, we should have a fully fit squad after the break! You Rssssss! |
