what on earth has changed? 11:54 - Jul 27 with 3709 views | RoChDaLe | 1) Strong rumours Matthew Barnes Homer is going to Notts County. 2) Strong rumours Scott Spencer is going to Peterborough. 3) Strong rumours that a couple of bids were submitted for Jack Redshaw before he got injured. What is going on?

what on earth has changed? on 12:04 - Jul 27 with 3663 views | dilligas | Mbh scored lots of goals and redshaw banged a few in. I can understand those. Spencer is a bit more baffling as he hasn't been particularly prolific

Well me, wondering why Jack Redshaw never got his chance?

There'll be some folk asking why we didn't have a sell on clause for MBH

what on earth has changed? on 13:19 - Jul 27 with 3481 views | boromat | Nothing! MBH and Spencor have always been proven in the lower leagues but failed with the step up to dale. Redshaw was always highly rated when he was here from what I remember but he struggled with injury and had pretty impossible task to get into the team at the time.

I agree about them being lower leagues player but it also could be a tad to soon in their progress....
| My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds |

what on earth has changed? on 13:29 - Jul 27 with 3453 views | ColDale | Redshaw came at the wrong time. He was drafted in as a potential replacement for Dagnall but the new 4-3-3 tactics left no place for him.

Fully agreed. Needs to play off someone up top - similar to how many said we should have deployed Grimes. Had Redshaw played off COG in a 4-4-2 he would have been effective for us I imagine, but the 4-3-3 worked well for us.

I think he plays up front on his own at Morecambe doesn't he?

what on earth has changed? on 16:07 - Jul 27 with 3247 views | davidab2202 | Before we get too disparaging about people outside the top 4 divisions of English football,we are getting a little excited about how our team is shaping up pre-season ,and a few of those had drifted into non-league football before we gave them a second chance back at this level. It may work for them ,only time will tell if they get that chance.

That's a fair point. | |

what on earth has changed? on 17:30 - Jul 27 with 3120 views | KenBoon | MBH was never given a fair chance here. He played a handful of games - admittedly badly - and the fans singled him out early on. If he'd gotten a break of luck who knows.

Was he not on loan? so sell on clause would not apply.

Possibly, but in the games he did play he didn't even look anywhere near good enough. The first half v Colchester was one of the very worst individual performances seen in 30 odd years. Always stick to the Catchphrase, er, catchphrase: say what you see.

Let's not forget, ALL our players looked terrible when MBH was here.
what on earth has changed? on 20:00 - Jul 27 with 2905 views | BartRowou | MBH played most of that half, if not all, in the O'Grady stuck out on the wing role. It worked for COG but not MBH. It's not his game. Plus, as already noted, he was being managed by Steve Eyre and co so none of us can truly say we ever saw the best of him.

what on earth has changed? on 00:35 - Jul 31 with 2617 views | ColDale | MBH played as a second half sub for Forest green last night. Looks like he's in danger of pricing himself out of a club with no FL team interested
