Totally agree on Rooney, nowhere near the player he looked capable of becoming.
Kevin Campbell springs to mind. Scored ridiculous amounts of goals in Arsenal's youth team but was never prolific at senior level.
Gallen also. Even before the injury he had become more of a 10-15 goal a season player than the free scoring goal machine of his younger years. |
You are a hard man to please, his stats look pretty good to me. He also helped to make Danny Welbeck a very good player for club and country.
