I believe we turned down offers for the likes of Buckley and O'Grady before accepting ones.
We also include an amazing amount of clauses which mean that we have profited from their future clubs success. So we get money if shelf wed go up and it seems from Reading and Soton's promotions as well. |  | | |

We did indeed return a healthy profit, the differences between our promotion season in 2010 and the first year in League One indicate why:
An increase of 139k in gate receipts.
An increase of over 150k in revenue from tv games (Birmingham and FCUM)
And crucially from the League/FA Pool an increase of 419k.
All these are, of course, linked to on the pitch performance.
There's no doubt the club are in the right hands but we cannot continue to miss opportunities off the field and that side of the club has to improve after relegation. If it doesn't, we'll notice in the future. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Chris dunphy dale through and through, however money saved by club will be eaten away next season, be intrested to know season ticket sales for last 3 to 4 years.
I imagine not as many will be sold this coming season. ? Home attendaces will drop dramatically EVEN if dale near top !!!! at least should save money on policing costs.
How many players could earn club revenue ? On coporate side will prices be reduced as attending lower division football ? i doubt it. Now a good time to put prices up in shop !!!!!!!! So many clubs offering deals to attract fans at moment, which possibly will carry on doing so next season, so okay having money in bank ? travel costs for club and fans will be horrendous next season.
I imagine close season will be tough with some hard decisions to be made from top to bottom. Admin, Club shop,1st team, youth, catering (stopped using). matchday stewards. etc etc.

Terrible post. Didn't enjoy it at all. I think the quality of the posts on here that criticize other posts has gone way downhill since we employed Steve Eyre. I wouldn't recommend this post to a friend and to be honest I think if Chris Dunphy doesn't get involved and improve the quality of posts to this forum he should be strung up by his feet from the roof of the main stand. | | | |
