I hope I'm wrong, that we appoint Danny Rohl, regroup and do well next season. But, gut feeling is we will be a Luton next year. The aftermath of this embarrassing season (relegation number 2) won't be easy to deal with. It was easier to dismiss one relegation as a one off last time, regroup and give it a good go. This time the following players will almost certainly leave:

Ramsdale, Walker-Peters, Fernanadez, Dibling, Downes, Harwood-Bellis, Bednerak, Ketchup, Suelemana. Then there are a few question marks, like Aribo, Armstrong but if I was made to present a shirt after a 5 nil defeat, I would want out. Anymore? That's a lot of players. To put together a completely new team, with 10 new players isn't easy, especially with our recruitment record. Plus getting rid of yet another manager. All I can see is chaos..

Yes.
No VAR.
No Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Man Utd & Newcastle spoiling it for the rest.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Actually loved those nights standing on the terraces and cramped seats at Hartlepool, Dagenham, Colchester, Southend. Great times they were. Not a tourist in sight. Just proper honest football.

I think that there are some structural problems in the club all stemming from the ownership which sees us perhaps as a nursery for clubs in lower divisions in Europe who will have the ability to buy low and sell high.

The recruitment has been dire. The managers/coaches not much better and the result is a playing squad of generally insufficient quality and now totally drained of confidence.

Changing an entire first team squad in one season will almost certainly mean relegation as the juniors are called upon to fill gaps and certainly the top half of the Championship has some decent and settled teams.

Changing perhaps half the squad - selling the players who will give us most fees - and recruiting from the younger ranks of PL teams is sensible but will not get us promoted next season. Perhaps top half of the table.

And of course new manager/coaches and preferably new owners.

Sports Republic were given a real let-off reversing their first relegation after only then finishing 4th.

They couldn't have blown that chance more spectacularly if they'd tried.

Extraordinarily incompetent on pretty much every footballing level, recruitment, managers, contract extensions, you name it.

Poll: Should we try to replace Selles for the final seven games?

It's not all doom and gloom.

There will be some players to come back who have good times on loan, such as Edwards and Shea Charles.

And presumably Edozie.

There should also be a few decent players to come our way from Goztepe, such as Juan and that Japanese lad we signed.

The likes of Smallbone, Nathan Wood and dare I say Manning will still be useful next season.

We will need to sign some experience though.

If they’re not sold.

Manning has been better in The Premier League than last season in The Championship.

Didn't want to mention that one as they're in with good chance of going up, just a shame they can hardly score more than the odd goal!
