Southampton Said To Have made Decision On Tyler Dibling's Transfer on 16:36 - Jan 22 with 1002 views | SouthSeaSaint | Ultimately Agents want to do the best for themselves rather than their clients. If Tyler does want to stay here and this desire is shared by his parents then that is good news. In financial terms the club has to decide his value in terms of wages. From Tylers side, I guess he is on comparatively little money on his current wage so there will discussions on going about how this translates to his performances in the Prem and the likely adjustment (downwards?) when the team is relegated.

So i was told, the deal was cancelled before all the contracts had been signed and money changed hands, so in fairness to them Chelsea played fair with us and let him come back here.

And you never know he could be back in the Prem the next season? Ok maybe not, but with the reminder of MLT's skills etc we've just seen, it would be nice if he did stay

I really think at least another year with us, even in the Championship, will be better for his development than the meat- grinder atmosphere of a big club. At 18 he'll be in competition with some big talents and big egos, and if he has a poor spell he'll be dropped like a bag o' shite. Southampton will look after him, he'll be amoung friends and he'll get even better. Maybe think about leaving when he's 20.
