KWP Off on 16:47 - Sep 17 with 1509 views | Ifonly | Yes, looking for a free with dosh. I'm sure West Ham did come in for him last summer, but the wages he was asking for undoubtedly made him too expensive. He'll probably get the wages he wants next summer when no transfer fee needs to be included in the package. His gain, our loss. C'est la football vie. [Post edited 17 Sep 16:47]

He’d be fine if he got a serious injury in March or April - the genius that signed Ross Stewart would definitely offer him a new four year contract 🙃⚽️

And I would not blame him. He has performed many times when those around him have not and his reward is to be played out of position because the club bought another right back when what we needed was a left back. If I were KWP I'd be pretty miffed right now.

I agree Charlie Taylor is a more natural & effective left full back than KWP. Being left footed makes it easier for CT & he is also capable of delivering decent set pieces ( ie. The delivery for THB to score from last night). I know most will disagree with me but I actually think Sugawara is a better right full back than KWP. KWP is technically gifted but he does tend to carry the ball too far, Sugawara is much more direct & delivers better crosses, just a shame we never have anyone in the box to get on the end of his decent crosses.
