Broja £58 million To Everton on 08:51 - Jun 10 by SaintNick | This is how strange supporting this club is, the fans idolise a player who only gets 6 goals, say he was disinterested and that was the reason why his form drops off Yet slag off one of their own players who was running his boll**ks off during the tough times. Prhaps the fact that he could run around disinterested for a dozen games and not feel he was cheating the club tells us a lot about him and whether he has what it takes in terms of application and attitude to actually become the top class player that some say he will be Who stole a wage from this club last season Shane Long or Armando Broja |
Poch had no plan B, Mane “the worst signing since Ali Baba”….The list goes on.

Broja £58 million To Everton on 09:17 - Jun 10 by Butty101 | Whats he meant to do when the permeant players at the club down tools. Lets be honest those poor performance's came from the senior players who rule the dressing room. Not the young lad who is on loan. Im not sure why you have it in for Broja - hes a decent young prospect. |
I dont have it in for Broja, i have continually said he is a prospect but that he is a raw talent. I havent eulogised about him as other have, I have analysed his season and aside from a patch in the middle I don't think it was great. Broja wasn't the only one who was putting in poor performances that is for sure , but when those praising him say that he wasnt putting the effort in I find that strange, that says something about his attitude, Le Tissier played in perhaps the poorest period of our top flight history, yet he never downed tools, Personally i think we pandered too him for too long, we dropped a player who was scoring in Che Adams and we left out a player who was trying in Adam Armstrong, I think that is we persevered with those two as a pairing in the final 10 games we would have scored more goals and perhaps achieved a few more points

No evidence to suggest that a pairing of Adams and Armstrong would have done anything. Or anyone for that matter. In the final 10 games of the season, the team was completely 'shot'. Only a new manager could have got better results out of them.

Shane was probably on 3 or 4 times higher a wage than Broja last season. Think you may have answered your own question……

You could see something had happened to him that’s all I’m suggesting and we have no idea what it could be. You say he was found out I disagree and I bet we’ll see how much he has been found out when he bangs goals in for Chelsea. I maybe wrong . Something has happened to Rashford at Man Utd he’s nowhere near the player he was , people recognise it though and say he needs help. I don’t see many slagging Rashford off. I know Broja is just starting out in the game and it’s difficult to compare players and maybe he will turn out to be a lazy Shyte like Pogba who plays when he wants but is everyone else wrong in the game for praising him ? Why not ask Chelsea fans what they think of him . I rate Broja and think he will be a very good player, I don’t idolise him ffs . I watched his goals v Albania I bet you haven’t . Shane Long is an excellent pro and I like him but are we going to go anywhere playing the likes of him ? I certainly don’t slag him off . I wonder how many other premier league squads he would get in. ? [Post edited 10 Jun 2022 11:12]

He hasn’t been prolific at any club he’s been at . Is this the sort of player we want to keep and play for 5 minutes. ?

You are right we will see next season how good he is I have asked Chelsea fans what they think of him, none of them really know as he has only one 4 minute appearance as sub for them, so they know even less about him that we do. Internationally Broja has three goals, one against San Marino and two against Hungary, I have watched them when he scored them cant say I remember them. Shane Long is an excellent pro you are right, if he was our first choice striker I would agree with you he is going nowhere, but doing his role in the last 10 minutes or so he has been excellent and these days it is a squad game and with 5 subs from next season he has a role to play perhaps. Interesting that Long playing in the same team that had downed tools as Broja, didn't have join them in doing that but grafted.

Broja £58 million To Everton on 11:22 - Jun 10 with 790 views | PatfromPoole | Broja looked unplayable at times against some pretty decent sides (City, Spurs, United, West Ham all struggled to cope with him). No other striker of ours came anywhere near close to that level of performance in the season. Like many fans, he probably looked at the team selection for the Cup quarter-final and just thought WTF.

Looking unplayable didn't transfer into goals and assists, so from that angle, Che Adams bettered his performances I actually liked Broja and i find myself having to put him down due to the frenzy that seems to surround his time here. Back in February he looked likely to kick on and get into double figures , he didn't do that and some seem to try and pin the blame on everyone and everything other than the player himself. The most shocking thing is that some even use the excuse that he gave up trying because others around them did, I wouldnt want a player in my squad and if it had been Nathan Redmond accused of not trying there would be uproar. Football is littered with players who have the talent but not the application Mario Lemina was one of the for example.

Fraser Forster went to shit after he signed his bumper deal and was farmed out to The Comedy League in Sweatyland. He has surprisingly improved in the latter part of last season as his contract came to an end. Now hes secured a part time job for the same money (probably) we were offering at a top six club. You have to give him and his agent full marks for this. It needs a strong manager to motivate 11 multi millionaires.

I don’t know if it is true or not, but FF was supposed to have had major mental health issues after he broke up with Frannie’s daughter.

Broja £58 million To Everton on 13:10 - Jun 10 with 692 views | franniesTache | I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of these sort of prices this season, Newcastle's financial doping means every club will be trying to raise as much cash as possible because they know the market will be out of control. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see some utter dross go for really high fees (not that i think Broja is dross)

I suppose he could get his head down and work hard for his teammates? Also do you have any proof that some senior players are ruling the dressing room? I thought the perceived wisdom is that we don’t have any leaders?
