Disappointing that, especially if we can get a team together decent enough to mount a challenge next season, he'd be an asset.

. Strikes me as the type, esp at this stage in his career to totally embrace Swansea, in so many ways. To want to make it work for him, his young family, and us ultimately. A natural fit, for all. Let's hope Jake S concurs, for the long haul. .

Still persists with sideways / backwards passes. Someone should tell him other directional passes are available In spite of aggravating the hell out of me today, felt it was one of Grimes' better games

Grimes can only move the ball if the relievers are running off the ball otherwise l he can only go sideways or backwards | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I agree but there was much more movement today and he did still revert to the side or back pass when he could have moved the ball on. Maybe he has got too used to it or just not quick enough.

Cryus is probably on £20k+ per week. He is out of contract in June. He will be looking for more of the same but will not get it. SCFC will be in the frame. a) He is 30 in the summer b) Covid loses have to be accommodated and most clubs are economising. c) There will be a crop of promising full backs coming out of academies cheaper (e.g. Laird) d) Players wanting bigger pay have compromised like Ntcham. e) Swansea can offer £10k pw perhaps with other options if Cyrus declines.

. Many here think the Playoffs are within reach. If that's the ambition, the likes of Cyrus are a must. It will be interesting to see how the remainder of the Transfer Window plays out. More signings of the calibre of Cyrus will speak volumes. I reckon 2 more permy signings by the end of the week will tell us a great deal.......... . . . .

Cyrus, sign for Us on 07:19 - Jan 23 with 2193 views | YouBackJastard | Christie is fantastic. Adore a wingback who can use both feet - Christie often likes to cut inside and test the keeper from out wide with his left while Latibeaudiere constantly had to cut back and pass it to Grimes or Downes because he simply doesn’t get anything out of his left foot.

Agree . In fairness though, Christie is an experienced, confident player. I feel we need to pull out all the stops to sign him. Latibeaudiere by comparison is still learning, but I feel he will be a valuable member of the team as he gets more experienced. If Martin can pull off a couple more signings this window and shift those like Dhanda, Obafemi, and one or two others who clearly don't figure in his plans, could be an exciting few months

Cyrus, sign for Us on 15:56 - Apr 9 with 1778 views | AndyCole | As per the rumours, he could well be signing. And why wouldn't he and his young family continue to enjoy the unique pleasures afforded by sunny Swansea Bay. He's nailed on RCB for next year. Would like to seem him given some minutes 2nd half today to bed him in.

Obafemi had struggled up to that point. So glad that situation has changed. Also Fulton has proven he is an invaluable member of the squad. Many managers make misjudgements on players. Probably historically our most famous two are George Chinaglia and Dean Saunders ?
