Luton Town v Swansea City Kenilworth David Pleat Stadium Kick off 3pm
Match Officials Whose Tony is that jacket ? Tony Harrington ( whose coat ) will be the referee for Swansea City’s Championship clash against Luton Town on Saturday (3pm). The Cleveland official took charge of the Swans five times last season, he oversaw wins over Nottingham Forest and Rotherham, as well as the away leg against Barnsley in the play-offs, plus defeats against Huddersfield and Birmingham. Jacket will be assisted by Mark Scholes and Craig Taylor, while Darren Drysdale is the fourth official. Mark is related to Paul Scholes, possibly.
New Covid rules mean you can’t slowly drive your car near the ground or talk to a variety of ladies with money in your hand. Just in case, you understand. Wear a mask.
Never trust a hippy.
This is a huge opportunity for Luton boss Nathan Jones to sound absolutely ridiculous again and bemoan about referees, missed opportunity, and his stupid accent.
Nick Owen said he was a Luton fan, then he said this "However, I have a significant number of other commitments, with both my primary employer, the BBC, and other organisations. All of these demand long travel and unpredictable schedules and consequently I feel that I am unable to dedicate the time and effort that I feel the role now deserves."
Seriously though, this could easily be a defining game for Russell Martin, the swans have lost only once in the previous seven meetings. Luton draw a lot of games, expect a 1-1 draw. In the last meeting the swans lived life dangerously but won 1-0 at Kenilworth Road.

Fulton and Ntcham on to strengthen midfield?
I miss the triangles we used to play. Too many long balls going straight to their keeper or behind the goals.
To be fair Obafemi has pace but none of the nous that Piroe has. You need a striker to work a defense when he’s without the ball. The midfield probably couldn’t find him on this form anyhow.
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

This.
First time in 3 matches a team has come out to play, and has instantly smashed our powderpuff tactics in one fell stroke. FFS this is schoolboy management at best.
Martin simply stands there., clueless how to respond. No nous, no leadership. Speechless.
Clueless as he has no idea, experience nor commitment. He is all mouth.
This is Luton Town smashing us to pieces.
Maybe we should all bugger off and come back when Russ says we should

My thoughts. Whoever was upfront in that first half had work cut out, service was very poor.
2 upfront. Here we go.

Of course it should be, it’s creating nothing.
It’s easy to defend, predictable and plays into the oppositions hands. They can keep their shape very easily knowing we are just going to try and knock it around.
They can pressure us in dangerous positions and the ball gets turned over.
The insistence of possession is what is killing us, it’s stopping us from making more direct attacks and also keeping pressure in our defensive third.
Incredibly easy to defend. We give teams an age to get back into position.

The possession and passing is not what should be knocked at, its the silly mistakes today that should be called out here.
These silly mistakes need to be cut out.
You cannot be serious.
Are you unable to see the clueless shape, inflexible tactics, lack of belief in a failing system, slumped shoulders, no hwyl, no leadership ?
This isn't just silly mistakes. That's just plain silly.
Piroe already shoving Martin's poor selection where it belongs.......

Downes off then,not Grimes .
Appalling
Martin's best decision by a long shot - there's hope yet.
Downes is way out of his depth at this level. Grimes must now be given that entire space as his own. Downes is diluting Grimes' brand. Martin is now seeing that thank heck.......

Don’t agree. I see Grimes as the root of much that is wrong. There again, with this manager ….

It’s like this. Martin is a clown. Utterly up his own backside and clueless as to prepare a team and admit when yiu have to change.
Naughton is no centre back
Never has been
Most teams deploy two strikers if they want to win.
Passing means nothing .
We simply have to bite the Burkett with Russ. He will see us go down and then will he be able to get us back
No evidence at all of improvement.
What yiu think Winston
You won't be hearing from Big bad Jamie today mate.
The biggest badest Troll on planets' Swans always disappears when the going gets tough for him, and only appears when he can make his shameful cheap shots.
Unless we win this 4-3, fingers crossed........

H ad him cornered for about 15 years. As deluded a punter as there has ever been.
He has personally allowed some horrendous abuse and indeed encouraged.
We are utter morons . That has been allowed to stand .
