At least 5 signatories of the Declaration of Indepedence were of Welsh heritage and 8 Presidents were too.
We don't see many Amerian Presidents bigging up their Welsh roots, why is that? Well because the Welsh are a small group compared to the Irish, his proudness to be Irish is all about votes, about garnering support. | |

Been has just signed a “Buy American” Executive Order making it more difficult to deal with overseas contractors, it’s a pity our a Government didn’t award the passport contract to a company who’d manufacture them in the UK or award the fishing surveillance contract to a British company. Now that we have Brexit, we should no longer be subject to EU procurement rules and should be able to award what we want to who we want - ideally they’d be a British company.
